Devin, great flight...thanks for taking us along! I enjoyed your co-pilot instructor on that Baron twin...he seems like a very cool & calm person! :-) Don/NE Ohio
I recently sold my Foxstar Baron. Great conversation for the Baron, although I wish I could have ditched the 4 blade props for Scimitar props. The 4 blade is a little anemic on takeoff. I wouldn’t flood a IO550 on hot start. Throttle full open, usually no pumps (or short 1 sec shot), crank until starts and quickly throttle back. If you flood the IO550, it can cause external combustion.
Gorgeous airplane! Such a clean panel. That’s a dream airplane to own!
Nice one! Thanks for posting and congrats on picking up the new ratings! Lot of work
I’m glad to come to your channel and I’m looking forward to seeing you flying on IFR flights
Just did a ground school to fly a Baron 58. Nice video, It gave me some idea of how it is to fly one. Thanks.

Nice job Devin! Good to see you in the left seat again! It’s been a while… I hope more content is coming soon. 😀
It is good to be back! And we cannot wait to restart the family trips once the world resets... soon we hope. Thanks again Craig!
Barons are hard to beat!
It is Pete. Loving it.
I love the B58. Great video.

Where did the owner get that cockpit redone please?
Wow. A lot going on flying that airplane. Different from a Cherokee.
Very important to get to blueline with clean configuration ASAP Engine failure is no joke in a baron.
Would you recommend a G-36 Bonanza before purchasing a twin for a new pilot with an instrument and multi rating.
Forgot to say ,this will be my first airplane.Either the G-36 Bonanza or the G-58 Baron?
Hey Chad are you still flying your 4 blade 58?
Hey, I know both of these guys!
Btw...Don't Step on the Dead! Step on the rudder that stops the yaw.......Step on the Dead and you add to the problem!
I enjoyed the vid!
Thanks David! Was a blast and Chad is a great sport for letting me hold down the left side of that bird!
Where did you do your Multi Engine Training ?
At United flight in Houston’s KDWH :)
Hi. Nice panel. What’s all in it and what shop did it?
CGR30p, GTN 750, GNC 255a, G500.
Glad you arrived safe. Not a fan of that particular aircraft.
Thanks for sharing.
Thanks JT! Happy skies!
Beech makes some of the best airplanes.
