    Where have you been എന്നതിന് പകരം where were you എന്നു ഉപയോഗിക്കാമോ

    • @perfect-your-english
      @perfect-your-english  19 днів тому +1

      Where were you എന്ന് പറഞ്ഞാൽ past-il ഏതോ ഒരു പോയിന്റിൽ എവിടെയായിരുന്നു എന്നാണ്.
      Where were you last night?
      Where were you at that time? Where have you been എന്ന് പറഞ്ഞാൽ കഴിഞ്ഞ മണിക്കൂറുകളിൽ, ദിവസങ്ങളിൽ, വർഷങ്ങളിൽ എവിടെയായിരുന്നു എന്നാണ് depending upon the context. Where have you been സൂചിപ്പിക്കുന്നത് time upto now ആണ്.

      No. You have to say Do you know how to ride a bicycle. Write a bicycle.

    I didn't find a solution to that problem. correct aano?

    • @perfect-your-english
      @perfect-your-english  21 день тому +2

      It depends on the context. I didn't find a solution എന്ന് പറഞ്ഞാൽ ഞാൻ ആ പ്രശ്നത്തിന് പരിഹാരം കണ്ടെത്തിയില്ല എന്നാണ്. ഇപ്പോൾ ശ്രമിക്കുന്നുമില്ല. അതൊരു closed chapter ആണെന്നർത്ഥം. ഇപ്പോഴും പരിഹാരം അന്വേഷിക്കുന്നുവെങ്കിൽ, I haven't found a solution എന്ന് തന്നെ വേണം പറയാൻ.

    ടീച്ചറേ i have been there. എന്നതിന് പകരം i had gone there എന്ന് ഉപയോഗിച്ചാൽ തെറ്റുണ്ടോ

    • @perfect-your-english
      @perfect-your-english  19 днів тому +1

      It is not really wrong but we do not use the past perfect (had gone) to simply say that something happened in the past. The past perfect is usually used with a simple past to suggest that one activity had completed before another activity started. So, I have been there is more correct than I had gone there.

    He has been absenting since Monday... Isn't it correct?

    • @perfect-your-english
      @perfect-your-english  20 днів тому +1

      No. It should be He has been absent since Monday. Absent is an adjective. It does not have an ing form.

      Fret not. This course isn't for experts. Nor is it for people who seek the most scientifically proven language learning method. It is for those who want to improve their English language skills for work or study related reasons. And I hope it serves its purpose. Thanks for the input.
