Hi thank you for the VE 10 review video. I am curious about the comparison between VE10 and empire ear raven. Can you share the comparison. Thanks again.
Between the two, I find VE10 more natural sounding and a bit more versatile, while Viking Ragnar has stronger imaging and resolution, but the tuning tends to be better for more classical instrumentation - soundtracks, orchestral, piano, classic instrumental jazz - and not as strong for the more electronic, alternative, modern pop end of the spectrum. So the better choice really depends on whether your listening is more rock/pop or more classical/orchestral.
For lifelike visceral bass, Radon6 100%. VE10 is a stronger "general reference" sort of tuning, but for bass presentation and texture in particular, the FiR Frontiers line is the best out there, with Radon6 being the best at combining the detail and the visceral bass.
Hey Eyal, thanks! Aura is probably the closest reference point from Vision Ears. VE10 hits a little harder down low with just a slightly stronger feeling of weight and body. Aura has the larger soundstage of the two. I didn’t get to do a direct comparison, so I can’t offer too much in terms of direct comparison.
Of my collection, I find the EXT to be the best sealing & most secure; once I switched to a wide bore, shallow depth tip from campfire audio that is. I absolutely love the EXT - hence the interest here.
As a fellow EXT enjoyer, I’d say that VE10 is sort of like if someone injected Phonix (OG) with a dose of EXT. It’s probably closer overall to Phonix, but adds in the DD characteristics.
@@BloomAudiohow do you feel that VE10 stacks up to Raven? I know completely different price brackets and technologies etc but as a fellow EXT fan it would be good to get your take. Thanks
We’ve been trying to sort that out (and trying to compensate in our editing), but I think it’s related to the preamp, as we’ve been using this mic for a while, and only had the issue in the past couple videos. Hopefully we’ll have that straightened out before our next one.
I heard these at Canjam and loved them. Was between these and the Kinera Loki for best in show for me.
How about Elysian Annihilator 23?
@@rorangseac Didnt get a chance to hear that one. It was perpetually crowded at that booth.
What about the Aura?

Have u tried UE premier, worlds 1st 21 transducer per ear.. Peace!
We haven’t yet. We’re hoping to get our hands on it at an upcoming show, so we’ll keep our eyes peeled… peace!
Thanks for your video, try VE 10 today. Really struggle this one or Noble Audio Viking Ragnar. Just wonder which one u will pick? and some advice?

@@BloomAudio much appreciated 🙏🏻
If you had to pick a clear winner Radon or VE10? Which one provides the complete experience of being lifelike with visceral bass?

Hey Stephen, awesome video.
How does the VE10 compare to the Aura? Thanks..

@@BloomAudio thanks! perhaps I'll bring it with me to CanJam NYC and we'll do it in person :) thanks!
Steves the man!!!! 🏆
Truth!
How does v10 compare to ext?! Thank you
The VE10 was made for human shaped ears.
They sound very different, VE10 sounds more like the VE8 but more technical and energetic.

Your microphone has severe electrical noise
Huh?

Feels like a downgrade from Aura
Aura is more in the vein of Phoenix, VE10 is going for a different sound.
