- I just got my Peak Design Everyday Backpack 20L in Charcoal and thought I'd take the opportunity to do my first unboxing video....er, unbagging really!

The bag is a typical bag that Asian stores sell rice in. They just paint it black. Even the red ribbon threading; opens the same way. I wouldn't wow over it.
Then Tong oh for sure! They sell grain and seed in the US with these bags too. Quirky, but definitely DIFFERENT! I think I like it better than a box?

The waist strap does not attach to the backpack strap. There is another strap that is tucked away on the other side. Pass-through is for luggage to slide through the handle.

Yeah I know, I just didn't pull it out for time sake --- that my only slight complaint, it's not super easy to take out the waist strap. Liked your review man! Thanks for sharing, reviews like these always help me decided where to spend my dollar! :)

How tall are you? I just got mine (30L), but I feel it might be too big for me, I'm 5" 6'. I want to get the 20L but I don't really want to wait another month or two to get it. So I'm debating wether or not I should keep the bigger bag. What's your opinion?
I'm 5' 11" ... I think... The 20L is a medium/small backpack on me. I debated the 30L, but when I consider that my camping backpack is 38L and that held all my belongings while traveling in South America for 6 months, I figured that it was too much for my purposes...
...Which is to have a daily, bring everywhere, 'Everyday' backpack. I don't need 30L worth of gear everyday, my projects are not that elaborate. The only reason I was really debating a 30L is because you can fit a Phantom 4 INSIDE. But I'm more of the run-and-gun, small-is-better kind of guy. My ONLY vlogging camera is my iphone.... for example.
So just think if you're actually going to need the space regularly - or is this going to be a sometimes-backpack? Do you need 3 camera bodies with you where you'll be going with the pack? Do you want to be the kind of creator with access to more or ALL of our gear at once?
Big thing for me was also airplane compatability. The 20L JUST makes the specs for a 'personal bag' (free always) and the 30L is only carry-on or check. I pair my 20L with a Pelican Air carry-on case, because my goal was to have a carry-on and personal bag that would allow me to being a full compliment of gear without having to check anything.

I really enjoyed your style, the sexy music was hilarious! The only reason I suggested the lighter color is because I had watched a video of the 30 in the lighter color and thought it was easier to see the details with my eyes. Your version made it easy to "see" the details with your enthusiasm and natural delivery which was way more fun to be sure.
Gotta love the sexy music! Derlee is a favorite of mine for sure and so glad to share his music via this video!

Great video. I went for Everyday Sling for walks in the city and it is perfect! But that backpack looks awesome. I'm looking for something suitable for hiking. Will 20L fit some extra clothing?
Michal Jesenský nice! I might go for a sling myself at some point. 20Liter if definitely a great day hike-sized bag, maybe even one night out if you're a serious minimalist. I'd say if you're going to hike for more than a day, go with the 30L!

Haha thanks. Go for it! That was shot with my iPhone 7+ in a cheap-from-china iphone clamp on a ActionCam Gorillapod, wrapped around a tall bar stool chair back. Shot in 4K30.

Nathaniel Foo yeah pretty much! It's got foam padding in the actual shell and has very sturdy seams and zippers. Of course it's even more rigged WITH the interior dividers.

Is it water resistant/proof?
It is water resistant yes! I've worn it in a light rain, and also poured a glass of water over the outside, no problems! Stay tuned for my 6-month review video!
