I love it. I know this is a response to Tyler Glenn's "Trash," and I was anticipating that it might dismiss him completely. It doesn't. In fact, I felt like it acknowledged him and the pain he feels, and shines a bright light of hope. I feel like if Christ were on the Earth right now, this is a video he would "Share" on social media. Thanks for being a light in my life today.

What would he do that would make jesus come? I'll figure it out. I'll get better at this. I got my whole life ahead of me.
I can really relate to this song. I am a teacher at an extremely low-income, highly diverse Elementary School in Eloy, AZ. We work through a program called Kids @ Hope. It is named this to fight the culture of kids @ risk. Each employee there has the official title, Teacher/Treasure Hunter. Amazing.

Probably my favorite song right now of any artist. This song really helps me treat everyone respect and realize that everyone has struggles and you never know what someone else is going through. No matter what others believe or do our Heavenly Father loves them and we should to. Thank you James and Yahosh. You're voices are beautiful and incredibly uplifting.
Nicely done....Tyler's 'Trash' song was a low blow and you just outperformed him with this hit which is a much truer reflection of us: the latter-day saints.
Good music with a positive message is always in style. Plus I could listen to Yahosh sing all day.

Tyler was an active Mormon until the change in policy last November. That is all you have is ad hominem. You appear to be calling those who leave the church upset and "can't leave it alone:" because of they way they were treated, "trash". I have a feeling even James does not agree with your filthy ad hominem attacks on Tyler.

@@itsumademoheiwa Just know that policy is not doctrine and Heavenly Father loves every one of His children so much, but people reject His love. We as Latter-day Saints have done a horrible job sending love to the LGBTQ+ community and that's wrong of us. When I was younger I was very mean to LGBTQ+ people and I am disappointed in what I did.

Goodness, awesome song. I have had a ton of changes whirling around and through them that kind of concept- I know I'm treasure- no matter how people's opinions of me change. Drama with the housemates- Each in their moment wanting to break up their family. I love them, I wish they could see in eachother the treasure I see in them. At the same time, I hope my husband doesn't lose sight of the treasure he married- even though I am his little pariah now and the thing he loves the most but wishes he could change. We are of different faiths. It is hard, and sometimes I feel like I am waving to him from behind a glass- covered in all the dreams he had when we were of the same faith. He tries so hard to respect me and allow me to be who I am- believe what I believe. But it hurts him. I hope someday his pain goes away and I can come out from behind that glass.

Wow, I watched this video & then followed it by watching Tyler Glenn's video "Trash." The two videos couldn't be more opposite. James song is uplifting, hopeful, filled with light. Tyler's is just dark, eerie, & vengeful. There is nothing inspiring or moving about that. Keep preaching love @jamesthemormon--you are doing awesome work!

Yay! Rap music without swearing! I don’t mind the swearing if it’s just me listening to it, but my elementary students can’t swear… 🤣🤣🤣
My students are every color of the rainbow. It’s beautiful. A large majority of my students relate and love rap music. It’s a lower income school and I want to make sure that I am teaching them music technique through music they ACTUALLY enjoy… not some watered down overdone elementary music you got off the district list. Blegh! This will be perfect for our pop/rock concert!
