I have had this collection for so long and wondered what to do with those square filigree pieces, the little charms and those twisted drops. Should have trusted you, Stephanie, to come up with a perfect project for them! I can see how versatile this design can be by changing out different beads and colors. 💜💜💜💜💜 I love this ornament, Stephanie!!! I got my collection yesterday and after watching this video I’ve decided to do my version in a mix of colors. I love red and green for the holidays and I also love gold and silver, so I decided to use 4mm silver rounds to offset all the gold and use a mix of red and green for all the crystal elements. I will share my version as soon as it’s finished. 💜💜💜💜💜

Thank you Jodi 🥰 The cover fits most standard round ornament sizes as it is open on the bottom. I used a 2 1/2 inch diameter for the tutorial but it will fit a 3 1/2 but it will be shorter. I purchased the ornaments from Joann’s.

So I finally had time to make this. I was sad it took me 3 hours but it's so gorgeous. I combined green and red into one ornament. I also didn't add the last row in separate components but just beaded them in all in one swoop. I can't get a pic that does it justice, but this was so fun and such a great pattern!!!!!

Thank you for this tutorial. this is a really beautiful piece. I like to follow to the letter for my first one I make, then I will experiment when I make another, or a third, or 33rd version.. with that said, I have purchase the Hearthside collection, and am wondering if you used anything outside of the kit, besides the red drops that you clearly detailed as such. Were the beads in the long tube of the kit or not? Thank you!
Most everything is from the collection except the red drops and the gold 11/0 seed beads ( the long tube I show in the materials list). The list is in the desk box under the video if you want check 😃

Hi Candace 🌸 I used a 2 1/2 inch or 3 inch ornament. The regular ones you get at Michaels or Joann. If it’s bigger it will just be shorter which looks pretty as well.

I want to order from Eureka beads and there is for one several choices of gold ginkgos and the 4mm beads are what colors are they silver and gold?
You can choose your colors. I link to the page where you can pick them. If I can link the exact color I will. Essentially, the blue is using silver and the green and red use gold. I hope this helps 🥰 At one time they had all colors and amounts listed together but I couldn’t find it.

What size ball does this work on?
Most common sizes as it is open on the bottom. So 2 to 3 1/2 inch diameter.
Hi! Just an observation; at the 9:30 mark you say “add 5 11/0s” when you actually added 6. 🤭
The design calls for 5 ( I accidentally added 6) but as long as you keep the number consistently it doesn’t matter how many you add there. It doesn’t affect the outcome 😊

You don’t list the specific colors.
Sometimes I list the page where you can find the colors. All glass beads are either Siam, Ruby and green are Emerald. Check the links in the description box first colors and options.
Hi Stephanie, I am in LOVE with your Christmas ornament covers this year! I’ve made 5 of the first one you posted, now I’m going to try this one! I don’t have the Ginkos, I’m wondering if anyone out there has tried this one with GemDuos or DiamonDuos? Or maybe DiscDuos?
