Every time Stephen wins, an angel gets its wings. #TeamGreen
When Justin said that they obviously couldn’t play with the decks they just randomly decided on, and needed to prepare in advance, I immediately knew I wanted a randomonium episode where they roll for the deck themes and then have a limited amount of time (30-60 minutes) to build a deck and present for play. Cameras and mics on them at all times of course.
What a win Mr. Green. You are my hero. I cheered out loud when you Slayer's Stronghold'd for the win out of nowhere. 10/10
Justin trying to weasel his way out of death is just priceless.... xD
I do wish Jeremy could remember anything.
That was so lucky from Stevie! Wow, what a great finish! For so long I thought Jeremy was going to win, but then Steven's insane turn with Narset and used all his resources just for one final push and it was barely enough. So impressed. #teamgreen
That never happened I refuse to believe that
Jeremy couldn't have gripped the ascendancy in response to the double strike trigger. It wasn't on the battlefield yet
Actually best option for grip Jeremy had was save Justin in my opinion
Please never stop making videos, everyone you do is amazing and it's always a blast to watch!
Man that time jump at 1:30 felt like justin and jon just switched shirts
I'm having deja vu, I swear they did that last episode.
Sonic6293 Yeah it's probably an intentional running joke
What if every week they just flip a coin and if it ends up heads they have another randomonium?
Just don't let Jon flip it.
But we krarks thumb the flip and pick whichever lands on heads?
Not gonna lie best idea you guys have ever had. Spinning ever week.
Please Don't
@@Neth91 its better the. Jeremy playing blue green ever chance he gets.
Thank you guys for making these every week. Also I'm 30, and definitively used a rotary phone for a good chuck of my childhood. So I know what a pound sign is.
Jeremy should not have been able to Krosan Grip the Jeskai Ascendancy in response to the Shu Yun trigger, since the Ascendancy isn't in play at that point, and when it enters play, Stephen will get priority again, before Jeremy will be able to kill it.
I thought he responded to him giving Shuttle Yun doublestrike
It's the same thing. Halfdan is correct. The ascendancy is not on the board to be shot yet.
He just does it after the trigger resolves nothing changes
After it resolves, Stephen has priority and could get one trigger off it before it is destroyed. I think in this instance it doesn't change anything, but it could have if Stephen had more spells to cast.
You can’t respond to the grip
So even if he did it after the trigger, Green couldn’t do anything anyways
So it doesn’t really change anything but you are correct about the state of the enchantment
I hope to all things holy a video of John ninja kicking Stephen exists
"The best monk" *points at the one that isn't restricted in vintage*
I'm 21 and I still call it pound sign and I had dial up plus landlines. I lived in Maine so we were really behind! Keep making great content! (Poundsign)CMDRVS
i enjoy the bants in these videos as much as the games tbh, great job as always guys
Jeremy you need to know when to attack, your initial deck talk at the beginning about giving other creatures +2 and that they'd leave you alone is like building a wall and the opposing army goes around them although I do a similar approach sometimes with Edric but card drawing is more tempting than +2 to attack. Love the irony that you held onto a Krosan Grip for a long time and didn't even use it properly ;) #TeamGreen
I always love when Stephen just bamboozles himself
I am really hoping that we get to see each of the random themes, it sounds so exciting.
At roughly 1:01:00 when jeremh regenerates his beasts they should have tapped as a result. Minor infraction -.05 point(s)
Nope: "Regenerate [permanent]" means "The next time [permanent] would be destroyed this turn, instead remove all damage marked on it and tap it. If it's an attacking or blocking creature, remove it from combat."
@@Seraphael correct. The first time he activates this ability targeting two of his beasts, they should've become tapped as a result of the regen ability since Traxos wouldve destroyed them. This would've given a slightly more open board for attack, though I don't necessarily think that would've happened anyway.
Really enjoying Randemonium, super excited to see what the other mystery themes are
What an ending! Great game Jeremy and Stephen! #TeamGreen
This is bull #noell am angry
new name suggestions:
Tournament of Tomfoolery
Ceremony of Spinning
Just some fools Breaking Rules
Wheel-y wandom, idgit spinner, and axis of accidents are the ones I've come up with :p
Love Tournament of Tomfoolery. Run with it guys.
Enclosure of Enigmas
Circle of silliness
I approve of this message!
That was a great episode!
I want to see you keep this up for another 5 weeks!
Just a minor thing, but ascendancy would need to resolve after the triggers and Stephen would have priority again before it would be targetable.
I love these! So glad I get another one ❤
Haven't seen the commanders yet but Justin BETTER be repping my girl Aryel!
That ending was crazy!
I love this channel so much.
Monk vs Beasts?
It really is a jungle out there.
I have been saying Coliseum of Chaos and Carousel of Chaos for 6 months now I'm glad director Kyle finally shared it with them.
No decklists? I really want to see these decks! All of them cards :)
was watching the deck techs just now and thought: "damn... ravenous baloth was just bonkers back in the days!"... 4 seconds later Justin intervenes and says exactly the same :-D
crazy how the powerlevel of creatures changed...
ravenous baloth just kicked a**es when he was in standard (and extended respectively)
Great finish!
That was one hell of a win by Stephen
He cheated
Epic finale!
what a clutch spinning of the weel :D
Really like your Randomonium every season. I will make 4 decks and have my friends play them with each other.
Man.. that game ending.. SWEET!
I like how justin and jon swapped shirts in the flashback
Like how Jon and Justin just swapped shirts in the rewind lol
I like this one. It seems like they’re similar power levels so it should be a close game
That was one of the best games this season! What a clutch win! #teamgreen
I don't get to play much so these videos are great, oh I love binging these episodes
Is there a link or place we could see all the seasons winners with ranks and points of all players for each seasons? Would be very interesting to see!!
I just had an idea for a commander match up. It's a bit odd and somewhat simple, but I think you guys might be able to make something of it.
Deck building restriction: no creature cards.
additional optional rule: Commonders are non-creature non-planeswalker. Though, I'm sure there are some cards that would be broken since this opens up far more options. I'd lay some ground rules like no board wipes, no fetch lands, etc
Could not Grip the Jeskai Ascendancy, it was technically on the stack when the doublestrike trigger happened!!! Jeremy cheats-megeats
James Moran no he did it after double strike. Which works so Green can’t respond since it’s split second
The double strike happens before the Ascendancy is in play; that's how Shu Yun works.
Why does everyone forget every week that Stephen does this every week?
"Whatcha thinking about?"
"Oh, you know, just monk things..."
#I'm 31 and I grew up with land lines and very familiar with the pound sign
1:27:00 The banter is exquisite.
Game starts 20:15
Cheers.
At about 1:09:30 Jon put traxos into play untapped, not sure how much it wouldve changed the outcome, maybe gave Parnell another turn
I think misplaying their commander annoys me more than a card in their 99.
It really only affected Jeremy's combat phase cause he might have swung at Jon. On Jon's turn he could have Ballista'd first main phase instead of second to untap Traxos for combat. Stephen countering didn't matter cause it's a cast trigger.
@@CBoxStudios "it only really affected Jeremy" well Jon would have been dead if Jeremy attacked him.
Not necessarily. Stephen could have saved Jon then. He didn't later because he didn't need to but with Justin still in the game he might have wanted Jon alive to draw aggro which is the only thing that saved him when Jeremy sent two tokens at Jon.
missed +2/+0 triggers hurt me this game😂 especially when they had double strike
Appreciate the TOOL shirt Stephen
Wow. That last minute WAAAN PUUUUNCHHH. Nice game.
Probably didn't matter, but you cannot respond to Shu Yun's trigger to destroy Jeskai Ascendancy as Jeremy did since the trigger is on cast and the Ascendancy had not entered the battlefield yet. This means that Stephen would have priority to cast a noncreature spell with Ascendancy in play before Jeremy ever gets an opportunity to destroy it.
There no triggers on cast it said whenever not when it entered battle field
I thought # was a sharp. But I guess that's just music. Also, Jon and Justin seem to be switching shirts a lot...
C# is a programming language known as C Sharp so theres that.
well now I'm 100% team green for the Tool t-shirt
As a magic player my first deck was Uril, the Miststalker so why no Beast Tron?
To me, hash tag symbols don't exist, but pound signs do.
1992 (26), used a land line until I was 17 and was driving.
Godsire and each other card in that cycle (Empyrial Archangel, Sphinx Sovereign, Prince of Thralls, and Hellkite Overlord) all feel like legendaries and honestly should have been.
Is the lighting different this week? Might just be me but table seemed darker?
A bit before 1:01:00 Jeremy regenerates a couple creatures but they don't tap? Regenerate taps a creature.
Go Go Stephen! I own a full Flavour Jeskai Commander Deck thats pretty tasty. I play it also cause im Doing Thai Chi :)
For Season "Unlucky Number" 13, can we just get 9 random episodes, and then the fan request decks are randomly assigned to each person at the end?
I am 23 years old and I knew # as the pound sign before it was called the hashtag.
at least someone taught you
I'll pound cmdrvs
Im 16 and I kew that
man, i'm so old that i knew it as the octothorp.
wait, that's what a hashtag is?
Can someone explain to Jeremy that krosan grip is a fantastic card that gets you a point for saving Justin or killing tracks at the end step and swinging in for 8 then killing Steven.....
Actually best option for grip Jeremy had was save Justin in my opinion
He couldn’t do anything with Steven thing people are said that
That ending.
Props to Stephen for being true to his tribe and not playing any creatures in his deck that weren't monks.
@Star City Games - Idea, Land Commanders - get your glacial casms, or your man lands, prepare your land destruction. Expecting Justin P to play Cabal Coffers and Steven his Casa De whatever.
Regenerations works as following: "Regenerate [permanent]" means "The next time [permanent] would be destroyed this turn, instead remove all damage marked on it and tap it. If it's an attacking or blocking creature, remove it from combat." This means Godsire would not have been tapped.
@53:00 ish, even if his Traxos was a 10/9, it still would've traded with the Aryel. Nothing would've been different other than Jeremy taking 1 Traxos damage.
I may not be the youngest but I used the pound (instead of hashtag) sign and a landline when I was younger
Just wanted to point out that Jeremy couldn't destroy the ascendancy in that moment (1:33:10), he needed to wait until stephen passed priority after he casts open into wonder, so the ascendancy could have triggered 1 time.
Jon played his Traxos untapped and it tabled without anyone noticing around 1:15:00. They're all bad at remembering things
Hey there are blue elves;well, merfolk elves.
You used coliseum of chaos so I have hope one of these will be featured. Reposting from prior seasons.
enclosure of enigmas
el bandito randito
chaosiseum
aimless auditorium
Randitheater
stadium of changitude
house of questions
stage of oddities
field of randeur
region of randomness
randzone
cage of change
coup de rando
mystery ring
randodeum
The dom dome- Randomex
#poundsign, #cmdrvs , age 25, still have a landline
Justin missed the opportunity to play Knights of the Hokey Pokey
Anyone who works at a store like publix or winn dixie most likely knows what pound sign is as you have to use old land lines in the store.
I think Stephen won due to the Richard effect.
I know it's a running gag but I wish you guys would use ASL to show which season you're in.
TRIBAL! MY FAVOURITE ARCHETYPE! LET'S GET IT!
why did Johnathan kill his artifact creatures to kindred dominion @ 1:05:48? he has a dark steel forge
Seeing his hand on the turn before he died I don't get why Jeremy didn't just full-out attack Steven instead of bothering with Jon. He had Krosan Grip and another artifact removal spell against an artifact deck. What was he afraid of? He knew about Steven's spell to make his commander unblockable. That's why Steven was the only one who could get him in any way in this situation.
They're not strategic players.
Shu Yun is probs my favourite Voltron commander of all time. Prowess + double strike on board is vicious when you have red combat tricks & blue tempo. #teamGreen yaaaas
I'm ok with spinning on a weekly basis :)
when did they remove the rule that you lose a point for not casting your commander?
Did John and Justin trade shirts?
dude i thought the same thing!
did steven have slayer's stronghold or sunhome because sunhome gives double strike but slayer's stronghold gives vigilance and haste
Shu Yun already had double strike that he used off of the Jeskai Ascendency cast, and with prowess he becomes a 4/3 doublestrke. Then he gave it unblockable, making it a 5/4 with doublestrike. Then he cast titan's strength, making it a 9/6 after another prowess trigger. The slayers stronghold added another +2/+0 finally putting Shu Yun at 11/6 with doublestrike and unblockable. They did it right, they just made it sound like the stronghold gave the doublestrike. Edit: technically jeremy couldn't have destroyed the Jeskai Ascendency until it resolved and Stephen would have gotten at least one trigger off of it, so technically the game winning swing was a 12/7 doublestrike unblockable general.
Only Justin can jump forward in time to wear his older glasses.
Justin what about starburst candy corn????
Actually best option for grip Jeremy had was save Justin in my opinion
Starts at 20:00
your suppposed to tap your creatures when you regenerate them
Coliseum of grandomness again. Hell yea
#26 used a land line with a chord
I knew it was the pound sign~
I got a question. Stoneforge Mystic is not a knight. How lame is that? I mean didn´t you guys try to make it tribal all the way?
