Most city slickers wouldn't even last a month in a place like this if they had no help because they never learnt to be self-reliant and they never learned to do some physical work. It's great to see an independent girl setting up a house and even fixing doors, dragging gas cylinders down a forested trail. Bless you...purane Ghar ki Yaad dilla Di dost.. it was not as good as the views around this home but it is was kacchaa house use to go there in winter sometime but ab toh sab development ke naam pr naya hogyaa..ab toh essaa hai Jaise Mera Woh hissa wahi reh gya ho aur bakki baacha hua Kabhi wapas USS naye Ghar m jaana he nai chataa

Dry Good DIY.Prayer flags should be cotton biodegradable not nylon, polyester, same with synthetic chuni, chemical kumkum in river after Pooja.We have to be environmentally counscious

Umm thanks :) but that would need me a lot of wood too na?? I don't like to burn woods.
@@PrakritiVarshney Yup u'd need wood for that...but when I was living with a local family in the village I figured out that they either source their own wood from the forest which is only cutting up dried trees (with permission from the forest department) or purchase it from a local Depot... either ways it's legit... U'd probably have to go with the latter option..which means it's sourced by legal means keeping in mind the impact to the environment and I'm sure they plant more trees in a good ratio as well. Mother Nature provides like it does with everything I guess...we just have learn to be more kind and somehow give back to mother nature as well. Maybe we can inspire each other more often and spread the msg 😀

I did hang up the bottles, though they are not bedsheets but hammocks only :)

Do you have good internet connectivity there...I will be visiting there in February..if there is good connectivity..I will extend my stay for a month or two and work from there

Could u please do a walk around in detail explaining what kind of off Grid set up u have in place and how much did it all cost ? Are u allowed to have as many Gas Cylinders ⛽ or is thier a limit ? Have u thought of investing in Solar panels , Wind turbines to generate ur own electricity. ? Perhaps tie up with Indian company to promote thier off grid products ? (Such solar lights solar water heaters.)You could also tie up with new eco companies making biodegradable cleaning products as well as shampoos and personal hygiene products?LOVE the bottled lights and ur doggos posing towards the end !!! A big hug to them !!!🏔🌼🐕🐶🌼🏔

Prakriti it's nice that you don't like wood burning but dear while living in woods there is a lot waste wood that is of no use for anything, while using this in local gyser yoy will save environment indeed
Ultimately, not everytime it is possible to collect waste woods and sometimes it isn't enough. So finding a mid path to have comfort and save environment as much in my capacity too. (I understand that LPG isn't completely eco friendly too but well, minimising the impact atleast
