How to work a simple v-neck

In this DROPS video we show how to work a simple v-neck in rib with 1 knit / 1 purl. The same technique can be used in the rib when knit 2 / purl 2. First, we show how we knit up stitches, then we knit all the stitches from the wrong side, then we work the rib and at the same time on every 2nd row we decrease 2 stitches mid-front as follows:
Work until there is 1 stitch left before the knitted stitch mid-front, slip 2 stitches as if to knit together, knit 1, pass the 2 slipped stitches over the knitted stitch (= 2 stitches decreased). This gives you a neat edge and the knitted stitch follows in a straight line.
