I remembered the first case. Ms. Lockridge was living in a fairytale fantasyland with Mr. Tidwell and thinking they were going to be together forever and marrying each other. His own moms said it. Then when the DNA results came out and Mr. Tidwell was not King’s father. She got embarrassed. She’s falling out and admitting that she doesn’t know who her son’s father is. My heart goes out to King, Mr. Tidwell, and his moms and Ms. Lockridge you need help for your self esteem and self love. There’s something really off and delusional about her.

I watch them to study people and relationships. It's really interesting the variety of situations people end up in and the complicated reasons why. It's clear there's a lot of generational trauma in a lot of these cases. Then you get the outliers where everyone is extremely mature and emotionally healthy, or clearly mentally ill. Of course, I'm assuming that all of the cases are real because they involve paternity, as opposed to regular court shows where people can file fake lawsuits to get on TV and make some money, since it's legally just arbitration and the show pays out the monetary awards to the victors. This show seems to be a way for more impoverished people who can't afford DNA tests to get answers and subsequent counseling, which is definitely a public service to the families.

All 3 women in each case has some sort of mental issues whether from trauma or genetic. We can judge them all day but truth is mental health needs to be took more serious in the black community. I'm not saying they shouldn't be held accountable for their decisions but if we are trying to break these generational curses it's time we start getting to the root of this behavior. For starters us men need to fully understand the importance of being a present and positive influence in the lives of our daughters because I can guarantee these women didn't grow up with a good dad and it shows. Miss Lockridge did NOT completely believe that Mr Tidwell was the father of her son, but she earnestly wished and prayed that he is the father.
Mr Tidwell ought to console her notwithstanding his disappointment. A relationship of six years should not be allowed to be destroyed this way.

    • @rahbid121

She said herself that she doesn't know who the other father is, which means she had relations with multiple men. Yet she pinned the child on Mr Tidwell and his mum. The fact that he kept on saying how she is obsessed with him says that she has been determined to be with him at any cost. She doesn't seem mentally stable. I feel it's quite toxic. They should steer clear off of each other. Him comforting her will trap Mr. Tidwell even more. He should run. And she should find who the real father of the baby is, she owes it to her child.
