Allright chums… here’s a chit-CHATTY grwm on how my mind works and how I decide what to prioritize based on price point and practicality. Tbh I’m pretty all over the place and constantly back and forth. This video kind of shows how I categorize my luxury purchases. Solid video. Glad to know I'm not the only one who does trial runs with items that mimic the actual item I am debating on. It is very helpful to gauge how much I will use/like an item in my daily life. It has propelled me to get the lux item and prevented me from making expensive mistakes.
I am Living for the back to back uploads girly :) my aunt has the Diane bag in the black empriente leather and it makes me wants to add like a creme one so we can be match lol she also bought an additional strap that comes with the coin purse and she didn't like the strap it came with so she gave it to me and sometimes I wear it with my PSM and it looks sooooo good

Ahhh new videos always make me so happy!!!🥹I have a celine romy medium and bv small jodie. I’m 5’ 6” and weigh 130. I honestly don’t like how Romy fits on my body and am even thinking about selling it (medium looks small and large sits awkwardly on my shoulder). On the other hand, I’ve been enjoying my BV jodie as it gives the perfect slouch and the small size just works the best on my body frame. I’ve been rotating my ava and half moon bags recently and am not still not so sure about heloise bag. Lisa can literally pull off anything she wears as she just slays all the time even in her pajamas 😂 hope you make the best decision!! Also, I noticed that those high end designer brands are still trying to target younger audiences because otherwise, I really can’t support the head designer whoever created/approved the guitar strap!!! Definitely vote for Dior Micro D-Joy and BV jodie🤍🖤

Lisa literally makes everything look exponentially better 🥹🫰🏻but yes the slouch and even the knot on the Jodie I just think it looks so timeless but I feel like the romy is easier to get in and out of because the drop length and strap is a bit longer so it’s so hard to choose between!
i think the teen jodie in thunder is so cute too and can match with a lot of outfits since its still a neutral. I would also pick potion/ fondant > black!

I regret not getting it when I could now it’s sold out in my country 🥺 its honestly such a fabulous and interesting colour, it suits you so well too ✨
As a general styling/wardrobe tip: if you only buy colors that look good with your skin tone, all the colors in your wardrobe will look good together. You'll still need to consider texture/material while getting dressed, but complementing your complexion takes care of matching things

I would save up and go to Japan to buy them, there are so many pre-loved stores in Japan. I bought my nano baguette in leather for $300 pristine condition.

Hi Maggy! I wouldn’t substitute the Packing cubes for the Nices because the Nices have wipeable interiors. Also I feel like you would regret not just jumping for the Nices later on, since it has the handle that’s perfect for transporting it while traveling. I work for LV, so this is just my input! Oooo so I have tried the Romy in person and it’s cute on the shelf but practically if it’s on your shoulder the side of the bag pokes out somewhat sharply and the only way to smooth it out is to just squash it against you so that’s why I never spent that money but I just got the heloise and I haven’t quiteeee decided how I feel about it 🤔 also just came back from Japan and they were sold out of the tan color and only some stores had that navy 😨 hopefully by the time you’re in Japan new colors will be out 👀
I’m going to vote for the Botegga and the Loewe bag charm. The bag charm for my Loewe bag was 7 plus so 4 seems really good to me. Btw I have the Sonia G brushes in different sets but the red set is my favorite! I know you don’t like the ICare, but she really does travel very well! Have a great Christmas!
Omg 700$??? You must’ve gotten the super nice leather charms! They have this pile of leaves charm that I’m obsessed with 🥹🫰🏻🫰🏻 ugh it’s so expensive but SO personal and special ~ but omg YES A FELLOW FUDE LOVER. I actually love her blue brushes more than the red but they’re all SO nice!

I bought my first LV in May and I got the Diane handbag. I also don't use the guitar strap. But it's an great everyday handbag!

I think lady Diors in latte ARE IMMACULATE. Especially with the champagne gold or even silver ugh stunning, if I didn’t get my white Chanel 22, I would’ve chosen the latte 🩶

I'm in my slouchy hobo era and just got myself the Bottega teen jodie and the YSL large le 5 a 7 in supple leather. Both leathers are soo goood. But I did consider both Celines you mentioned.
What made you decide to get the Jodie instead of the Celine picks?? Because ugh the leather for both is honestly so soft
As a gift for yourself, get the Loewe charm or nano baguette. 'Tis the season to get something you love without fully justifying it 🎄
They’re sold out of so many pieces for the charms that’s another reason why I haven’t purchased it already 🥹
@maggyxchuu 👀That leaves one option. I got the Fendace Nano Baguette (same price as the denim), and don't regret it. Then again, I use Cashback from Rakuten and ibotta, etc. Sometimes, I use it as a wallet in my other bags. I think you should ask yourself if you like it more than the 5 gusset from Dior
I chose the small jodie over the teen jodie. I felt the small’s shoulder strap is more comfy
Also looking for a hobo style bag for my Japanese trip next year, currently eyeing the BV medium sardine bag in fondant. I know BV is famous for their green, but damn they do a gorgeous dark brown 🤩
The gold sardine against the fondant would look SO nice! but wouldn’t it be kind of heavy to travel with??
@@maggyxchuu it’s a little heavy, but I might be willing to take it for the aesthetics of that sardine handle. My other choices are the LV speedy 25 in Damier azur, or the Loewe small hammock in soft white/paper craft (not a hobo bag, but still Japan appropriate 😆).

I've seen the romy and Jodie at the outlets. You could probably get both if you really wanted. Bottega is always on sale at bergdorfs and nordstrom.
Impulsively got the mini anjou in yellow but I have to say I love it…. And it’s “reasonable” compared to other bags out there right now I’m looking at (Chanel cruise 😒). I also was stuck between the romy and Bottega Jodie but I would say if you’re looking for a more secure bag and you zip your bags a lot the romy is the way to go. The strap drop is much more comfortable and the zipper is easier (still a struggle though) the Jodie is impossible to open on your shoulder and DEFINITELY is a two hands job to unzip so I leave mine open since I live in a safe country but definitely something to consider! Do you value practicality or the look? The lifetime warranty and yearly spa with the weaving was what pushed me towards the Jodie in the end and the fact I can leave my bag unzipped

Next year i'm buying my medium peekabo, either this special edition version or i might see if i can get a made to order. if i have funds left over, maybe a bulgari or a midi baguette. I definitely also want a sequined normal size baguette.
I'd say the jodie, it'd be an alternative to the flamenco as an everyday casual bag. i think the jodie sits better on the body than the other hobo bags mentioned.
i like the phone pouch. i'm planning on getting one at some point. i only really like buying the sequined baguette charms.
I love nano/micro bags, but i just cant bring myself to spend more than 2k on one unless there's something special about it.

Well the most recent price increase happened in July so hopefully they don’t increase it again until then 💀 but sometimes they have price increases in February too 💀

I’m not a fan of bottega. Part of the reason is because of kering and what happened with balenciaga. My vote is Celine and it fits my aesthetic more. I love Celine’s brown/tan color❤. It’s beautiful! I don’t like dark brown bags except like LV monogram and damier ebene. I think dark brown like that looks like poop😂
