Ya but labs has hundreds of other packs that are free some are locked ...but honestly labs is the best pack library I've found I've been using it for years it's the only library I can justify paying for

Bring back the old GUI. The new design makes it 100 times harder to work with

Hey there, sorry to hear you're not enjoying the new plugin. What specifically about the old plugin did you like that isn't in the new one? We're making regular weekly updates, improvements and new features to help improve the UI and user experience, and would love specific feedback to help make it better for everyone.

@@LABS_ONLINE The art is too distracting and doesn't help at all. The art work is bigger than the actual title of of the patches, so finding the patch/sounds that you're looking for takes longer. If I click on the brass tab, all the art is pretty much the same and makes finding a certain patch confusing - it's all the same shade of red and doesn't help. Just have a big picture of a trumpet at the top, then list the patches below. I would get rid of all the art work or have it like like you did before with just a small illustration. I'm not against paying for parts of Labs, but the incorporation of the free and labs plus is not done well and makes things confusing of what I sounds I actually have. It also loads a lot slower now and I've been using it less and less since the update. I used to recommend labs to all my artists, but now I tell them not to update. The way that you had the old layout as a list was a lot easier. I know you have the option of choosing list and grid mode, but I find it extremely difficult to use in grid mode and I also don't need all the information for the patch when it's on list mode. Those are only a couple things. You had something that worked extremely well and now it feel's like a bloated upgrade. I've bought various spitfire libraries because of Labs in the past but haven't bought anything since. I hope you take some of these considerations. On various videos, I've seen numerous other comments say the same thing on various videos and socials. Once again, you had something truly great. There was never any issues with it on a user end and it was easy to use and inspiring. I would almost pay to have a downgraded version.

@@LABS_ONLINE The artwork is too distracting and hurts more than it helps. It makes it harder to find the sounds that you're looking for, plus the art work is way bigger than the actually title of the patch. That would be fine if the art work made more sense of what the actually patch is rather than some abstract illustration for some of them. Another example, when I go to the brass tab, all the art is the same shade of red and makes it hard to look at. Why not just one picture of a trumpet and list the patches below like you did in the original version? I'm also not opposed to a free and paid, but how it's incorporated is not done well. It makes it confusing what sounds I have. I know there's a tab to switch between the paid and free, but it loads a lot slower than it did in the old version. The layout is also an issue, I know you can switch between grid and list, but either way, visually, it's too much information. In list mode, we don't need the paragraph of information of what the sound sounds like. Those are just a couple things and I hope you do take some of these criticisms. I've seen others say this on other videos and am not the only one displeased with the update. You truly had something great that was fluid and inspiring as a producer and composer. I've recommend labs to a bunch of my artists but now I tell them to make sure not to upgrade.

@@wesrollins Hey Wes, thanks for the feedback, it's crucial we get insights like this from customers otherwise we can't make informed decisions on how to improve the plugin. Regarding the artwork, we're in the process of changing the pack artwork from illustrations to photography that will portray a clearer idea of what each pack is. The 4stringsz release is the first to do this, and others will follow asap. Regarding the slow loading of paid to free packs, we've made incremental improvements to the loading time of the plugin and this is now much faster in the latest update. Regarding the grid/list views - we now have a preset browser in the main iiO view where you can easily browse through packs without going into the bigger window view - this was implemented before the end of last year and significantly improves the user experience when changing presets.
Hopefully you can check out the latest update and see what you think!
