Electric has done well for me, sure sometimes I wish it would go fast but it does the job, I’ve loaded mine full on concrete demo or full on big tree logs. I got boards so I got it loaded to the max and the normal electric has never failed me
that first one you showed was great was going to ask why not go with the pto off the truck but you answered that and I never knew that you had to be stationary to use it , great video Joe showing the differences .
Hello! Unfortunately they do not offer a wheel base long enough for a box that large on a regular cab or crew cab. You can get away with a 24 foot on a regular cab… Could probably do 18 foot on a crew cab.
Very nice. I ended up choosing a dump trailer & to find a decent 1-ton because the medium duty "technically" wouldn't tow some of the equipment i pull or be logical. (toy hauler, excavator, tractors). But those sure would be nice if i could have both.
Erie, PA. I have regular cab dumps on order… Probably going to be a few more months before I get them at the earliest. Most of them are committed. Shoot me an email! truckguyjoe@gmail.com Please let me know if you’re looking for gas or diesel.
For me (living in the Northeast) I say stainless all the way ! I wouldn't even look at a steel bed, they are all junk in 10 years. The other reason for stainless (over alum.) is I was able to order the body (from Galion) with a Hardox floor in the body. I can run my cleanup bucket on the excavator right across that floor picking stone out of the body and it does zero damage. If you're shopping for a dump body, do yourself a favor and spend the money on the hyd. pump, the electric ones are a joke !
Nice comparison video. This truck ua-cam.com/video/RtYNn1X5wdM/v-deo.html What's the cubic volume of the dump body? I'm looking for something like this that is 4x4, and can carry 360-400 cu ft with 8,000 lb of cargo capacity. We're looking to upgrade our firewood delivery truck.

Nice comparison between steel and aluminum on the Chevrolet Silverado medium duty commercial trucks

👍👍👍
That first truck is slick. Love it!
I have a question the Isuzu cab over for landscaping can you have a side dump box then open deck for mowers.
Yes, custom built!
@@truckguyjoe I’m going to reach out to you cause that’s something I’ve been thinking about.
Hi Joe🙂. i am Looking for Silverado 6500HD "crew cab" with 26FT box truck. is this option possible? thanks.

Tow ratings definitely a shortcoming of these trucks...low GCWR rating.
Nice truck! What brand are those stainless fenders?
Custom made by the body builder, A&H Equipment
First truck so bad ass
How much are some of those options like the 9ft bed with tool boxes vs the others would be a curious subject as well.
9' steel dump w/ crossbox, hitch, camera, tarp is ~ $16K
11' stainless w/ pto is ~ $26K
11' aluminum Eby Flex w/ crossbox ~ $20K
@@truckguyjoe thank you
Where are you located

Cubic volume of this truck is approximately 300 cu ft... The 39" sides hurt the capacity. The bed is 11'4" and 8' wide.
