one of my favorite spots for reds, bonito and spanish/kings, first time there me and my buddy doubled on bonitos screaming our drag won’t ever forget it
In town for the week from OKC! Was stoked to see some of your stickers at bay baits when I went by there for so gear! Definitely grabbed one! Excited for some fishing this week! Another great vid as always!
Must be my birthday today. You and bama beach bum put out a video on the same jetty, lol. Looks like i left a few for y'all to catch, lol You can tear them spanish up on that bend coming out of the lagoon. Great video! Always enjoyable to watch your vids
Fished St. Andrew’s jetty with my Dad and brother a few years ago. Caught my first and only groupers there. None were legal. We got some dirty looks when we released them, from people who must have thought we should keep them.
Howdy from Texas. I have fished this jetty several times and just get caught in the rocks constantly. Any tips for staying off the rocks? Love your videos
Man .... much respect to you!.. I try to fish the jetties at st. Andrews yesterday and hardly got past those flat white chunks. I swear you've got to be some kinda spider monkey or something to navigate those. Also I had no idea the current on the pass side was running like a water park ride at Disney. So I guess I'm gonna stick to surf fishing. I can't afford an aqua cat so I'll have to use a paddle board to get the bait out...lol keep posting grt content
Love fishing the jetty! Pass side of the kiddie pool is a gold mine!

It's a great spot for sure!
Any recommendations on lures?
Spoons, paddle tails, and small topwaters.
good stuff. Always enjoy the hook ups and seeing those fish pull like they do.
Thanks!

Just gotta cast past them.
how are you getting out there at sunrise i thought the park opened at 8?
You can enter early if you have an annual state park pass.

To je na kamenech v rezervaci, tam jsem chytal v roce 2000 až 2007,Nezapomenutelné zážitky
How much do you pay attention to tides when you go out?
I always try to fish moving water when hitting the jetty. Seems like the faster and tougher it is the better the fishing.
Why not throw some artificially crank baits from the jetty? Not a suggestion, but curious as to wether it would work
Will try that next time! I know where to find some good ones, lol.
Would use of shrimp work any?
Oh yeah, everything eats shrimp. But problem is pinfish do too.
Thanks. I am going to try my luck next week. Not sure what bites this time of the year. Any thoughts there.
what kind and size hooks were you using?
Im sorry, i would be guessing if i told you. That was a year ago.
@@TheLawlessTide what would you recommend? last year i was out there and a red fish bent my hook straight 😂
@@elijahbratcher7149 i like Mustad demon circle hooks and the size of the hook is dictated by the size of the bait.
What bait you using .
Fishbites paddletail
There’s not much better than chillin and reelin.👍
😂
Can topwater baits work in early June ??
Sure, especially at daybreak
@@TheLawlessTide what about any printed maps of public shore access??
Not a fan of the jetty rock thing. I have salmon fished those kind of shore rocks on Lake Michigan in Wisconsin here and not a fan.
Is anything biting right now?
Haven't been out to the jetty in a couple weeks.
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🤙🤙
The one you lost , why are you forcing the fish in as if you have a time limit !
Are the raccoons still everywhere?
Didn't see any but I here they still are.
