gear wont matter in arenas. but for the trial mode and bgs its just the same stuff you get from the dungeon shop in game (the little house icon) or drops from raids/arcane realm. only thing different to look for is focus over hit for pvp
funnily enough i remade the video earlier today(because of the audio) and added what im currently running for pve and what i look for when im pve'ing with it. Just uploaded it a minute ago! skip to around 10:15 in the newest one for a run down

no i dont. if i did use the assist, it would probably only be to use furious attack when theres a weakness point just to make sure i am not missing it
