- Kansas State used all three phases to hold on to defeat TCU 21-14 on the road. Quarterback Will Howard started in place for the injured Skylar Thompson completing 42.1% of his passes.

K-State is hitting HARD this season.
DC Klanderman has been working with the defense...credit to both the coach and the players. And look, for an initial outing as starter, QB Howard did very well. Credit to the coaches and team... well played.

He was referencing clock mismanagement that otherwise wouldn't have allowed TCU to have an attempt for a tie. Honestly if Howard hadn't tripped on nothing the game would've been over, so that one play made it closer than it should have been.

@bbookzable TCU was coming off an impressive victory and we were coming into their stadium with QB issues. It's not hard to see why TCU would have been favored, I'm just happy to see how well Howard played and am excited to see the talent we have on the bench.

Great W but have alot of work to do with Howard if Thompson is done.. they're not gonna beat anybody else with an offensive performance like that...and I'm sorry but that lame call at the end was total BS not only was it not a late hit but about as clean of hit as you can get in that scenario which is why no targeting was enforced ... K.. S ... UUUUUUUUUUU WILDCATS!!!!
Iowa state fan here. I have to be honest i didnt give k state much of chance in this one but once again k state proves me wrong. Wouldn't it be amazing to have a farmageddon for the big 12 championship? I really respect the K state program and wish you all the success. Except against ISU.

@@poodook I was listening to OU podcasts after they lost Iowa State/K state and they called ISU and KSU a bunch of "try hards." They didn't give us any respect. I'm so glad we both kicked their ass. I gotta be honest Oklahoma's fan base is arrogant AF. Go Cyclones.

TCU was favored by 10 basically. TCU has one of the best defenses in the Big XII and K-State was starting a true freshman vs Gary Patterson. You are asking for a grudge match.
It’s obvious that when #55 for TCU is in the game the offensive line is much better.
Glad that last flag didnt fuck us over. Defense carried us as you can clearly see. At least the defense looked really good rather than TCU looking bad. Will is still rough around the edges and that's fine. Hope we have Skylar on the 24th so we can put 50 points on KWho.
I notice everytime these 2 commentators show up for any TCU game, they don't play good. I prefer Gus & Klatt commentary lol, we seem to win lol.

That first long play was a horrible call by Patterson. Sends their one lb on a half @ssed blitz from the outside. TCU gets burned by their blitzes waaay too much. And TCU's offensive line is horrible.

Tcu cant win with gary as the head coach..the play calling is horrible. They run duggan more then the RBs..if i was evans i would transfer. We have been losing for the last couple of yrs becuz of coaching. Worse tesm in 1 score games.its a trend now.im from cali and im a super fan but this is becoming dumb
Bro I know how you feeling. I'm a TCU fan but every Saturday watching them play is anxious, I always try to relax watching them play but something tells me they will do something stupid on offense or penalty. They play good away and home like trash! Really fed up of their play calling. Hope they get their act together 🙏🏽

Looks like K-State was putting extra effort to stop Duggan's running and giving the RB's more leeway. Something is missing...maybe Patterson just can't be great forever. But then, just last week they outplayed & beat the huge football factory loaded with 4 & 5 star players.(Texas)

KSU beat one of the best defenses with a backup QB lol. They also had 7 starters out against Oklahoma with Skylar playing on a hurt calf. Ksu should def be ranked already and they def need a ton more respect

“KSU is overrated” yet we’re still winning games? Fought our way into the rankings, have played hard against every team, defense has been so good compared to last year, etc. Teams like OU and Texas get a free pass into the AP Top Ten every year, but yeah, go off about how kstate is overrated😂
