I'm an automotive locksmith. I probably couldn't open one of these locks with a key. :) I just wrote because I appreciate your no nonsense honest review style. I could go on for hours about automotive lockouts and programming keys. I actually never enjoyed picking locks. It's wild to me it actually became a sport. To me it's more of a nuisance when you have to do it for work. When I have to pick a lock which is very rare I can get them open if there is no other way. If there is another way not so much. I guess it's all in the attitude. Being an old school automotive locksmith what i did become really good at was impressioning. That's mostly a lost art now but also mainly useless for modern cars.
This is a great comprehensive review. Thanks for doing this. hopefully it will help new picker decide what not to waste their dollars on. Me well I wasted my dollars!, though I didn't know any better, cheers
I didn't do enough research and went with the Sparrows set six months ago. I wanted to try out dimple picking (like Abus EC850) without dropping 200€ on multipick initially. By now, I am just annoyed by the super flexy sparrows picks and just want the multipick set.
I was hoping they actually fixed the issues as that was why they said they pulled them from production but it seems they just waited a couple years hoping most of the people who complained left the hobby.
@@georgiajim2260 yeah, noticed that. I find the flags for the goso to be smaller and easier to work on and you can also swap the dong shi flags for the goso ones. I'm prpbably going to get both the huk and the dong shi ones and polish them to be compatible with Cisa, Abus and Tesa locks.
Thanks for your great review. Where would you recommend buying the HUK set from? I'm not sure which sites are the best to order from or the most reputable. Thanks

Thank you very much for this video!! have been trying to find out which dimple set to get, especially because I'm Left Handed!!
Wow the Sparrows Flags really dropped the ball!!
I swapped my handles for Starrett's162A/B's. I find these remarkable on feedback. The build is top quality..
Hell yeah, packed full of highly valuable information. Thank you man.
Thanks man
@@georgiajim2260 Just ordered a set of Huk ✅
Saw these honest dong shis used by people. They seem sturdy and a great base for a dimple set. I my self own the goso one.
If you put the work in to clean them up and polish them you can have a really nice set of picks for cheap

Very helpful, thank you so much
Thanks, glad you found it helpful
It’s a shame that the new sparrows set is just as bad as the old one, the flag shapes I liked.
Thanks for the heads up. All I can say is I’m disappointed but not surprised.
thank you for the review!! 🤠
You’re very welcome.
Been searching for a vid like this. Thanks GJ
