I'd love to see this ship navigate this channel with a full cargo. Personally, I think that a fully loaded tanker is the most beautiful thing to see on the sea.
wonderful!
Espectacular ,muy entretenido ,la salida de los barcos ahí en la Coruña ,desde Chile 🇨🇱 Saludos y gracias.🎻⚓🎶
I would imagine quite a 'shudder' goes through the ship as the top half of the propeller comes out of the water !
Oh god, how this beautiful!! DS Warrior, swaying in the waves, speeds up the pace)💪
Viva la Coruna and you !!! Thank you so much for your videos !
Thank you very much, Stefani !!!. Kind regards from La Coruna!!
WOW! I have never seen the so big pitching motion of the so big ship. Very nice view point. Great video. Thank you for sharing.
it's empty, when they load up some ballast it'll be okay
Great footage!
Big rolling swell there lifting that ol girl so easily, you video uploads are great , keep em coming please, great location and footage. thanks from a fellow ship lover
Que pasada, muy buenos videos, sigue así, un saludo
A great video, as per previous post she is discharged and riding quite high, once in open water the crew would add ballast
Clear water with minimal marine life

КРАСОТА!.......
been to LaCoruna many times nice place. Seamans club their is awesome probably gone now though. Golden Monarch
That silly little boat @8 minutes nearly got run over! Didn't it see the tanker?

the vessel ballast was empty after discharging its crude oil . The sea was swelling
I would expect the vessel cargo has been partly replaced by seawater ballast. Seawater is less dense than crude therefor less heavy. Ballast is not cargo !!
For Coruña the sea state is actually relatively calm with the average Atlantic swell. It is prone to some really rough weather and sea conditions.
Yeah yeah

is true, know well the place. Mar de la muerte. (muerte=death). This is a normal sea there. One of the most treacherous oceans in the world. Wonderful food that place, and terrible seas. Mariners there are not joking, they play wiith death almost daily.

Torm Shipping is a Danish shipping comepny, so Torm come from Denmark just like Mearsk Line do also come from Denmark.
I don't know the depth, but with that much resistance and steering accuracy needed; too much ballast would be a disaster if you had to do some radical maneuvering.
That looks like pretty good sailoring to me!!
And answer the darn phone!
Charles Reece they will take on ballast seawater once they have cleared the port and are into deep water -an empty ship is stiff in heavy seas.
Awesome vid!! keep up the great work!! love this stuff. Do you think you can get some footage of large ships in rough seas?
Like in heavy heavy seas..storms etc?
Music is great also.
She is leaving on a sunny morning, she is still gonna deliver sonr crude oil to somewhere they needed.
It's empty
Seems the captain did not do homework before leaving port.
Though It may look Interesting . Seeing the Prop well Hight above the current Water Line on this Ship, Isn't Always a good thing. It causes an Awful lot of Vibration throughout the Vessel + Greater Induced Stress On most if not All components Associated With Propulsion. though Say! on & For Strict conditions, (Theoretically not quoted) Permited on Medium to Low Tide Departures- Harbour Master's n Captain's could Ride High a vessel During departures, Creating a Positive Buffer Depth between Hulls and Sea Floor is always a good thing, Ballast can then (Theoretically not quoted) be Verry verry Slowly Orgmented during Transit for a more Stable Operation. Vessels can also Depart with assigned Ballast even when All cargo holds are Empty for a Return Transit.
One big thing....dam.TH
It's rare to see a 150,000t tanker being lifted by the swell so much so that's a big sea running but my guess is it was after a storm.
Njugglesvatn ok
is always like that there, in Galizia ! the land of the heavy seas and great food ! been there !
The cook would be really pissed off with the pitching and rolling!

Thanks for posting great vid sad that the idiot whit the camera stands in front of your camera. We dredged there in 2007 and the weather is not even that bad.
I´,m "the idiot with the camera"....like Alfred Hitchcock in his films :)...I did it only one time. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Sorry i toucht it was someone whit no manners
stormy sea....
no, it's not stormy, it's just the the natural motion of a large (empty) ship in a swell.
oil tanker¡¡¡ (y)
Isn't this bad for the engine? Rpm's going up and down all the time?
The engine has a fuel injection regulator who holds the rpm constant.
Silly to ask that .
I want to buy a tanker and make it a battleship with 16" guns.
Good idea! 😅

Do oil tankers have to be that big
This one is a suez-max, suitable to cross Suez canal. She is a médium size tanker. Best regards.
Yes, otherwise it's not economical.

Which music is it?
Free music from youtube audio library. I don't remember the title, actually deleted. I'm sorry so much. Best regards
no ballast ?
I would expect the vessel cargo has been partly replaced by seawater ballast. Seawater is less dense than crude therefor less heavy. I would expect they will take on more ballast when they at sea.
