Legend. I would say the best mod is allowing the community/us to avoid the lengthy post assassination dialogue, therefore letting us get creative with escapes
I used to replay all the games of this franchise before every new release, until I kinda got sick of Ubisoft & it's antics. The writing & lore of AC is what captivated me the most and I just watched those things die slowly but surely with every new entry. I haven't played any AC past Odyssey, but now I'm reconsidering going back and using all kinds of mods for every single game to add a new feel to an old experience, while also creating my own headcanon and skipping parts that I don't like. Maybe I'll even change the spoken language in the settings to match the location and make it even more immersive. Thnx for the vid 👍
Oh man I remember watching all the coolest mod reviews for Skyrim and Minecraft. Those were the days. I remember trying to play like an Assassin in Minecraft years ago, I even figured out how to download a Venice parkour map.
I hope the modder community grows in AC and someday we can have collections of mods as crazy as in Fallout or Elder Scrolls, I'll keep an eye to see what I find. and I assure you that you are not the only skeptical about the remakes I'm almost sure they will give us a parkour like the last AC but I hope I'm wrong.
The way I've been falling in love with the franchise again is I've been playing the games in order. Some of them are the first time I've played them in 10 years and I've been really enjoying them
Can't really explain, but you have the same thoughts as i do with Assassin's Creed. From canon/immersive ways to play to searching mods in my teenage years and being disappointed by it. And you're also a creator, wish i could've continued to make AC vids in my old channel. Great videos dude, seriously.
As an aspiring game dev, all of my games will be able to be modded. I'll release the official tools. As a gamer and dabbler in mods, I know how much they increase the life span of the games and how it brings the community together. I hope more game devs realize that eventually
A mod to some is a cheat or not for them because it’s not official. But I see it as an optional DLC or content pack to enhance the experience. A mod could be anything it doesn’t have to make a game easier sometimes just make it look nice. I’m glad the community for assassins creed is taking off there is a mountain of potential here.
Maybe this is off-topic, but I’ve never installed a mod for my Assassin’s Creed games. Whenever I start feeling bored with the games, I shift my focus to the lore. I enjoy thinking about the lore and imagining how I might uncover something new or gain a deeper understanding of it. This is why I feel comfortable restarting each Assassin’s Creed game, except for Odyssey and Valhalla. The historical aspects of these games excite me, making every playthrough feel fresh and engaging. I view the games as a source of enjoyment where I can immerse myself deeply in the lore. I’m not against mods at all, but I don’t feel the need for them right now because I’m still deeply in love with the game as it is. I did see Shay’s outfit in this video, and I was amazed by it. However, for me, the real enjoyment comes from fully exploring and mastering what the game provides without mods. I find it more fun to delve deeply into the game’s content and lore as it was originally designed. But that’s just my personal preference.
I agree, i have been playing AC unity and AC syndicate with mods and it feels like a whole new game. BTW, this is the first video of yours that i watched and i love the quality of it. You have good pacing and simple editing while making it enjoyable. I hope you make it big
That reshade preset is awful, you can't see anything. Besides, we are still at the point of simple model/animation swaps, some QoL at best, the situation hasn't really changed much, it's just easier to make the same things we used to make years ago. The real deal would be custom missions, maps, mechanics and stuff like that, but until Ubisoft opens their engine a bit more it's not going to happen. Personally my "dream mod" wouldn't even be anything big as the ones I mentioned before, I'd just like to have pre-AC3 parkour in newer AC games with manual ejects, ledge grabs and so on, but I'm not sure if the map would work without those in mind, so idk.
The Parkour mods for the first four games were the only ones I knew about and are amazing with the depth and amount of changes, far far beyond what you mentioned in this video. I'm truly glad that ACUFixes exists! Didn't know about its gameplay changes. Hopefully one day someone makes an overhaul mod to Mirage because that game needs it, especially its parkour.
With the art for the thumbnail for a moment I actually thought you jumped into the Ghost Of Tsushima with that mod as it resembles Ryuzo Ronin attire. Seriously tho brother if you haven’t played it yet play Ghost Of Tsushima it’s truly amazing.
@@TheSpaniardAssassinbrother if you are on PC then boom it’s right there waiting for you. Plenty of Assassins Creed fans and UA-camrs have said Ghost of Tsushima is what the RPG trilogy should have been because it’s like a mix of old and new AC with some RPG elements. Plus Jin Sakai is an amazing character whose journey from Samurai to Ghost / Assassin is truly great.
Yes, modding is the what keeps most games alive for years and even decades. Games like Morrowind, a game from 2002, is still alive today because of modders, and I could enjoy Unity more after installing the Unity Fix, which is a godsend (LOL)! I recently saw a video of mods for AC one, and I was flabbergast because they were more than just the reshade, but there was the parkour mod, of course, but also other mods like bringing the horse inside the city and being able to fire knives at *any* distance thus allowing for more fluid use of one twos and the like. I would leave you the link but most probably UA-cam would block the comment so the name is something like "Fellow AC1 Enjoyers, Get These Mods," or something like that. In less than three minutes the video offers different quality of life improvements that would deeply enhance the AC1 experience so much more.... Next time I play this game I will do so with mods.😁
excuse me.. excuse me, the number one game that still thrives in modding and looks like its made in 2024 is Skyrim. all others followed it in terms of modding imo.
I'm gonna sound like a broken record but Ubisoft could've just re released AC unity like they did with AC3 remastered, but this time with fixes and think it wouldve sold quite well. How would it sell well you ask because up until recently more people have looked back on the potential Unity had and realised it would completely blow new AC titles out of the water with its at the time revolutionised mechanics.
could u list the mods u used for this rouge game play?? I love the outfit, and the graphic mod , depth of field mod or what ever it's called looks really fun for stealth in a kinda weird ish way.
I really hope that AC1 remake will understand the purity of the original game, I doubt it, is there a Mod that can activate high profile/low profile in AC Origins?
I was really hoping that mirage would have high/low profile, that was probably my biggest disappointment with the game. I even set my sprint button to hold r2 just like the old games. The only AC mods I’ve ever heard of are the acu fixes mod and a parkour mod for ac2. I don’t think you’d be able to switch high/low profile with mods in the rpg games because the profile system just doesn’t exist.

Closest thing so far is AC Rogue: Black Flag 2 mod that changes most of the character and have Edward betray the templars
Literally impossible, not as customizable as Skyrim or any other engine.
