CONGRATS to Jordan and all the other girls. It means SOOO MUCH to young black and latina girls to see that THEY too can pursue and excel in gymnastics! You are making history Jordan! Thank you for covering this NBC! Representation, and equity are crucial and it's amazing to see NBC doing its part in supporting diversy and inclusion!
It sucks that NBC Chicago would set Jordan up like that, back-to-back all black podium, so what⁉ that shouldn't be a conversation. You should thank God you were able to turn in the performance you did, and for your place on the podium, end of story. Because you know as well as I, all white podium sweep, or Asian Americans sweeps podium would be a negative issue sooner or later. I'm glad I took the time to watch Jordan Chiles interview👍🏽; I'm praying for you to do your absolut best in Paris Olympic 🖤🖤🖤‼🙏🏽
It was actually MONUMENTAL and has an incredible tricke down effect of more young black girls seeing that they THEY too can pursue and excel at gymnastics, and it has been a BIG conversation!
@@Hello_Haven you make an excellent point, and me not being a black female, or young, thinks it would still treckledown without saying, "all black podium back to back"😐 The bible says if you build your house on sand it's going to fall, because it lacks a strong foundation, this country is built on sand when you have a black history month instead of teaching America true history. When we compete in the Olympics there will be medals awarded to the USA athelete, or team as a whole; not white Americans and/or Americans of color, no our medals are tallied up together... but we teach a white version of history and give blacks a month. White America hates that we contributed to this country outside of picking cotton, and beyond sports... anyway back to back is an accomplishment that should not have to exist, for young none whites to lean on.🙏🏽 I agree with you, I just hate that it has to exist‼
