I was fortunate enough to grow up in BC in the early 90s. All those coal trains with SD40-2 and 2F units in the mountains. Sometimes triple headed with pushers. What a great time to be a kid.

It was great. I remember being down around the Sparwood and Elkford area. Watching the coal trains load up from the silo was a neat thing to see. I wish we had camera phones back then.

The serenity of downtown Yale blessed with an EB coal drag! Too bad Barry's Trading Post is closed. It was a pit stop to grab scratch tickets for the missus, grab some drinks and have a quick smoke break (green and brown) LOL!
