If you live in DFW the Capital One Venture X is the best card you can have in your wallet. I always stop by the lounge when flying and the card got me access to 6 T-swift tickets, which alone gave me more value than any other card!
Can you do an updated video on Hyatt and CSX setup? I'm curious what the quickest path to globalist status would be with minimum spend. As always, great video! 💎
Hilton Aspire has to still be S-tier. Automatic Diamond status along with the credits and Hilton spending categories make it a must for Hilton loyalists.
Hasn't really gotten me much except when I was in Asia and maybe the last stay at the Crockfords in Vegas. But I booked that thru AMEX FHR so maybe that had something to do with the suite upgrade.
I got the CapOne Venture X when they were offering 100K SUB, and also a $200 AirBnB credit (which was triggered by a random 2-night hotel stay), and with 2X on everything and 10K points still to come, it has been a fantastic everyday spend card. I'm well in the black after only eight months.
Remember the Ritz Carlton is a Visa infinite card so it needs a $10000 credit limit I believe the data points did not include the credit limits so if you have credit to transfer as long as it's $10000. I would like to get a 3rd ritz Carlton if it's not too late, the free night's certificate has been upgraded to 85K points to match it from American Express's updated Brillance card. Now that's better as I am not driving now. I would say that the Amex business blue plus is oversized value with 2MR points on everything all the way up to $50K with no AF and does not count towards your 5/24.
So I recently rented a Uhaul cargo van . You should have seen the expression on the clerk’s face when I said I have primary CDW coverage, which was going to be $25/day, on my CSR. Premium cards save money. This was $100 saved.
💎 Should have mentioned having explorist/globalist with Hyatt you can be matched to MGM Gold. Very similar benefits as Caesar’s Diamond. No resort fees / free parking. Great video!
💎 I live in Las Vegas..... so as soon as I heard about the Wyndham Business it was a no brainier. I keep it in my wallet as my 8x gas card, and transfer points to Caesars to get free food from Gordon Ramsey on special occasions. Also you didn't mention it in the video, but MGM will Status Match the Diamond Caesars card to their Gold Status, and then Hyatt will status match Explorist if you've got MGM's Gold status. SSS+ card in my book!
As a Verizon card holder the cash back that credits to my bill is killer. Plus a 4.16 credit to my Verizon bill for 24 months when you first sign up. 4% cash back on gas and groceries, 3% on dining and takeout, 2% on version purchases and the bill itself, 1% on everything else. It's a zero annual fee metal card with very solid rewards. I love the card and they have decent promos the new one is 5 bucks a recurring bill for 3 months so that was 45 bucks for me personally. I know its a C tier retail card but man it punches like an A tier card.
Why downgrade the boundless to the bold before upgrading to the Ritz? I just upgraded directly from the boundless to the Ritz in the first week of this past October.
💎 headed to Vegas in a few months,I have the X with the 300 travel credit (hotel in mind)however you make a strong case for the ceasers card, the no resort fee that alone makes me rethink my hotel options. When I thought I had it all figured out your ahead of the curve.thank you friend
💎 I have been applying for the Wyndham business earner card for about a month now. It has been one of the absolute most frustrating thing I have ever done. I just sat on a mandated hold for two hours and 40 minutes. I am dedicated to this Hyatt status through it. Lol I will get that card
💎Thanks to top-up functionality for Marriott award nights, this year will be the first time I use my Ritz-Carlton Rewards card FNA to stay at an actual factual Ritz-Carlton hotel 🙌
Could we get a video like this for cards with benefits outside of traveling? A lot of the traveler based discounts are nice, but at least for me, it's really something I do maybe once a year, if that. I know many people are more into that than me, but it would be nice to know which ones are better for just daily pleb life.
💎 once I am out of Chase Jail I aim to go for World of Hyatt card. I have Hilton Honors basic card but I only got it for the huge welcome offer and covid 100 statement credit. Used almost all the points on stays. Plus I just dislike how little value each Hilton point is for domestic value for short stays. Especially when trying to book a premium room. Thank you for all you do, sir. Best to you.
I got the CO Venture X and I absolutely love it. I'm wondering if I should use it as a daily spender or only use it for perks and put my daily spending on Chase trifecta.
💎 I’m interested in the Hyatt card and the upcoming premium Citi card. The only reason I hesitate in obtaining more “S” cards is that I really dislike having to use travel portals due to the lack of hotel status recognition.
I have the Amex gold, chase sapphire and got the Marriott boundless just to upgrade to the ritz in a year. I also have my eye on the capitol one venture x and wonder if that would be better than the ritz
I think the only one that possibly makes sense for me is Boundless -> RC, but I already have a lot of the perks from my other cards. I'm doing the Royal Hawaiian next year. 💎
Hello Sebby; I like the Venture X but I’m thinking of switching over to the Chase Reserve next year because I fly Southwest quite a bit. Thanks for all of your research. 💎
Take this with love, because I'm an OG Ask Sebby fan (I think I've watched every video since 2018), but you should redo this video with the correct information about the Ritz Carlton card 85K certificate. I appreciate that you always have the most accurate information in your videos. Ask Sebby is the standard in UA-cam credit card videos and a correction video would keep it that way.
💎I was surprised the Hilton Aspire didn't make the S tier. Also, the quickest way to get Lifetime Globalist status with Hyatt if money is no object: Book the Royal Suite at the Park Hyatt NYC for one week. At $30,000 per night, you will get the one million base points you need for Lifetime Globalist status (5 base points per dollar x $210,000).
Amex vid is going to be part 2, otherwise it would've been a 20+ min video. Thanks for the data point! Hope people spending that much can expense the whole trip lol.
💎 I have the Amex gold and Amex Platinum, and the Chase reserve and business Ink, and recently I have added three chase SW cards (1 personal and 2 business) in order to get the companion pass. Amex platinum has been a great lifestyle boost while traveling. I love the centurion lounges and the hotel perks. I don’t feel like I have made the most out of points redemption though on the Amex cards.
I feel like the Ritz Carlton card doesn't get enough love. I honestly don't think I've heard of it outside of your channel and maybe one or two others. I guess it's because it's difficult to get at this point. Overall this list was full of some powerhouse cards. Thanks for sharing Sebby! I look forward to adding some of these down the line. 💎
💎 great content Sebby. Out of the ones you suggested I would lean towards the venture X. The new Bonvoy card is probably my next card. That 150k bonus is a weekend in the Maldives alone 😁
I live in a Delta hub (with Silver Medallion) and have been considering switching to either AA or UA for better upgrade availaiblity...but this makes a good argument for the AA Exec! 💎
💎 I've got Venture X and the Business Wyndham. Just got a free meal on our last stay in Vegas. I got the card for the multipliers and hotel benefits, so the Caesars perks are gravy on top!
I have that Wyndham business card for about two years now. Definitely for the budget traveler, especially if you don't frequent Vegas to use the status match. But if you're looking to save money, it's a great card. The 15k points it gives you every year for paying the $95 AF is worth it. That 15k points is worth between one to two nights of stays at most of their hotels. That's easily over $95 in value, especially if you can get two nights for those points. Plus it earns 5x on utility bills so I pay my electricity and home internet bill with it. Other than that I only us it to pay for Wyndham family hotel charges
💎 I have the Wyndham Biz Earner card and the Hyatt biz card (will be getting the personal WoH soon). None of the others are worth the hassle of having an additional ecosystem/portal I have to track for me. I feel like I lost my chance at ever getting the Ritz Carlton card due to jumping the gun and getting the Amex Marriott biz card, which then locked me out of Marriott on the Chase side.
Honorable mention I.H.G legacy $49 af cc. 40k fnc every year you pay af. 10% rebate on points redemption. Additionally platnum status with I.H.G. Did a whole week in Kenya between my 2 I.H.G ccs’ and, p2s fnc. Between p2 and, I we get 5fncs a year enough for a holiday.
💎💎 Great to know about the Wyndham Business card, no wonder Caesars kept ignoring my matching request from Wyndham Diamond as I had acquired it via IHG. I'll have to look into getting it just for the status 💎💎
Spent my way to Hyatt globalist this year with the business card and so far the only ones that have enjoyed it are friends and family via guest of honor bookings 🤣 I did book a spring break hotel and confirmed suite upgrade at the Huntington Beach resort but that's a few months away. I stayed at the Hilton resort in HB this year and as a diamond was underwhelmed. No upgrade no acknowledgement really just felt like a gold. I'm hoping the Hyatt will be a much better experience. I have a concierge but she has weird hours and doesn't always get back to me in a timely manner. The only saving grace for me with the Hilton is the new Crockfords has the Tesla loop stop and that's super convenient to get to the show grounds when I'm there on business.
Hey Sebby, I recently applied for a capitol one venture x card with great credit but was rejected for having “too many credit cards”. Does Capital one expect you to close some other accounts before they offer their card to you?
💎 💎 I love your channel been watching 👀 for years. But I think you missed a card that's more over powering that everything you mentioned and it's only $95 a year. The JetBlue card is my most over powering card if you can spend $50k on it in a year. It gives you Mosaic status. With that gives you amazing perks on JetBlue and American airlines. Then you get the Founders card for free which cost $600 a year. With that card you can get Hertz status Ceasars Diamond 💎 status. For free Bahamas trip. Match to mgm gold. And I can keep going. The perks is endless for $95 card
If I had to pick one, should I do the Venture X or product change my Chase Boundless to the Ritz Carlton Card? Or is it worth getting both cards? I already hold the Chase Reserve Card.💎
Personally I would go with the Venture X since the points are more flexible, has a lower effective AF and gives you a 2X category on everything. The only downside is that you're doubling up on some benefits with the CSR.
If there’s a chance that Chase might close off the RC card and if the RC card benefits would be useful for you, I’d say go ahead and upgrade sooner rather than later.
Also Ritz's airline travel credit can be used on any airline, and a mix of airlines up to $300, whick it also more than any Amex airline credit. You only have call Chase to alert them to apply the credit, I have 2 RC cards and they work well on my airline cost.
@M Carey - I believe what matters is where the card is reported. For example, some/most business cards don't report to your personal. I want to say that one that DOES report business credit cards to your personal credit report is Capital One. I say that to say if a card reports to your personal credit report, it will count towards 5/24. If it does not, it will most likely not. Unfortunately, I've read both ways regarding the Wyndham Business Credit Cards.... This is just what I've read. Haven't personally experienced this. Hopefully, someone who has direct knowledge on this use case can chime in.
For the Wyndham Earners Card, which by the way I hate the spelling of Wyndham and always spell it wrong, I'm wondering if once I'm in the status merry go round from this card, can I keep my status going year after year by matching status? I know they have different deadlines so if I cancel the card after the annual fee posts in 10 months would I still be eligible to keep my status going round and round?
No. Caesars has changed its Diamond status such that they won't status match from Wyndham unless you have the Earner Business card or have earned Wyndham Diamond "the old fashion way" 😉
I really wish Chase Hyatt had better earnings categories. Even just 2x all the time. Where Marriott boundless has great earnings but horrible redemption. I wish i could get the hyatt redemption with the marriot earnings
Hey Sebby. My credit is over 800, never carry a balance but got denied twice by Capital One Venture X. I travel at least twice a year so I thought the simplicity was a good fit for me but can’t get approved. I would get approved for the Platinum but it the AF does not justify for me! What is my next best option? Should I go to CSR?
AYEEEEEE!! I do have the Wyndham business ! Love it for the Caesar’s diamond! I couldn’t match my platinum to the Caesars since the match has been dead, so that’s been clutch 💎💎💎 🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽
Has anyone watching this had success product changing from the Bold to the Ritz recently? I got the Bold last April for the sole purpose of product changing to the Ritz this April and now I'm concerned I won't be able to do it.
Do you think people should be cautious about getting the Venture X since it seems too good to be true? It feels like the benefits will be nerfed in a few years or the AF will be going way up. They can't fight amex and chase while losing money forever.
Exactly what I've been thinking on this card. I've been considering it for a few months now, but since they're currently paying each card holder $5/yr after credits, I think the AF is likely to go up by as much as $100 more in the coming 2-3yrs.
@@SteveMarkovitch since they don’t give tons of credits they buy discounted in bulk, i think it may hve to go up for to support the perks. Or authorized users aren’t free so 5 people don’t get free priority pass.
It was nerfed a bit recently in the fact that they dropped the restruant part of PP. Still a great card. And I'd say grab the card for the intro bonus and run it with the no annual fee savor card. Ton of amazing multipliers and run them until they nerf the X then use it as a set of cards to rotate out while waiting for the 48 month timer on Chase cards to reset.
I want the venture X so bad but barely found out about CO’s 2 card period rule recently. My first card from them was my first card ever (originally the student card that I product changed to the ventureone) so I cannot close that for my account age, and my other one is the Savor card, but I was also grandfathered into it before they started charging an annual fee. Is there really no way for me to get that card without closing down one of these?
💎 Man I’m really trying to get my hands on that wyndham business card but with no business it’s a bit difficult got denied once. Going to try and be on my best behavior for a few months and apply again got a Vegas trip coming up and I would love to status match my way up
ok the caesars diamond $100 dining credit, i've spoken to several caesars rewards staff about this and all of them said you don't get it automatically every year, and you have to play to a certain point level before you "earn" the $100 dining. this seems contrary to what their website says as well as what your video says. I've also been told on one occasion where I asked, and was told it was a one time welcome bonus, but not something that auto renews each year. any insight Sebby?
I've never gambled a penny at Caesars and redeemed the $100 dining credit 2 years in a row at Nobu ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Maybe try talking to Caesars restaurant staff/manager instead for the redemption?
@@AskSebby so you don't need to go to the desk and just redeem directly when you're paying the bill at restaurant? I tried that at amalfi and they said nothing was showing up on my account for $100 credit...and directed me to the caesars rewards desk instead...
It's hard for me, I go to Hawaii every year but I always have an ex-girlfriend in Waikiki that I stay with that hosts me. A rich Taiwanese friend of mine just bought at the Ritz-Carlton residences so I'm here for a couple of weeks staying with her. I can never seem to buy a hotel when I come back to Hawaii.

@@AskSebby You are the one who made credit cards churning cool. I like he way you go into numbers as a data analyst i love this.
I am planning on Closing CSR, if I get a Ink card, can i still transfer points b/w personal cards to Ink card -> Hyatt?
can you talk about the BOA set up for 480 back ?
Clear value tax mentioned you yesterday. Well, he didn’t say your name but he showed you.
Been having the boundless for a year… tempting to upgrade
If there’s a chance that Chase might close off the RC card and if the RC card benefits would be useful for you, I’d say go ahead and upgrade sooner rather than later.
Also Ritz's airline travel credit can be used on any airline, and a mix of airlines up to $300, whick it also more than any Amex airline credit. You only have call Chase to alert them to apply the credit, I have 2 RC cards and they work well on my airline cost.
Is the ritz carlton still metal? Thats my deciding factor 🤣
does the barclay wyndham card count toward 5/24? Thank you.
If you're referring to Chase's 5/24 rule, I believe all cards do.
@@alaskanmoney4978 some business cards don’t. Are you saying all Barclays biz cards go toward chase 5/24? Thank you.
Interesting content. 👌
💎 I have the WoH card and Globalist status. Love the vids man.
Anyone see the clearvalue tax video today? How about a reply video?
Sebb, I thought Ritz now comes with 85k certificate?
Yes, good catch!
@@AskSebby oh good I thought maybe what I saw was wrong. Thanks sebb!! 💎💎💎
Omg Sebby watches Pride and Pinion! Casio… God Tier!!! 😂😂😂
Can’t wait for part 2!
I didn’t see the business channel link in the description 😬 💎

💎🙌 Venture X is on my list after I downgrade my CSR and probably the Hyatt cards
💎💎💎💎
A new business channel it is. I just subscribed and will start watching. Thank you, you are the foundation of my UA-cam University experience.
Thank you! :)
If venture X gave you $300 credit booking anywhere then yes but their portal has higher prices so it’s a deal breaker
You can price match
What’s their reasoning? What other cards you have?
“The Bold and the Bountiful”. Coming soon to the Ask Sebby streaming platform. 💎
;)
Can't wait to watch this after work. #squad
🙌
Would you get the AA Executive if you lived in a AA hub? 💎
S rank, or as they say in Japan, ESSU RANKU!
AYEEEEEE!! I do have the Wyndham business ! Love it for the Caesar’s diamond! I couldn’t match my platinum to the Caesars since the match has been dead, so that’s been clutch 💎💎💎 🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽
Nice!!
Good stuff
Thanks :)
I believe Meet Kevin's kid being the authorized user of a Citi AA Exec about to be bye Felicia
You should apply! I have both the quicksilver and the platinum and was still approved for the venture x
The PP from RC comes with unlimited guests, isn’t it?
💎
Man I’m really trying to get my hands on that wyndham business card but with no business it’s a bit difficult got denied once. Going to try and be on my best behavior for a few months and apply again got a Vegas trip coming up and I would love to status match my way up
@AskSebby. I'm in the same boat. How do I apply for Wyndham business card with no business?
ok the caesars diamond $100 dining credit, i've spoken to several caesars rewards staff about this and all of them said you don't get it automatically every year, and you have to play to a certain point level before you "earn" the $100 dining. this seems contrary to what their website says as well as what your video says.
Why ignore Bank Of America Credit Cards? They beat all of these cards by rewards and lower annual fees
