28:15 From here, you can see the entrance to 42nd St’s lower level. Many people don’t seem to realize why it existed. It was originally designed to allow southbound trains from 53rd St to stop at 42nd St before merging. This is why that platform exists and only does a southbound one. It has since been abandoned due to impracticality as the upper level platforms provide cross-platform transfers and 53rd St trains can wait at 50th St’s lower level anyway. Restoring 42nd St’s lower level would be impossible now since the 7 had to split the platform and track to extend to 34th St due to it having the same depth and runs perpendicular but it’s not an issue at all since such a separate platform just to avoid merging before the station wasn’t really necessary from the beginning.
Excellent video sir… R46 looks tired and ready to be put in pasture. They are slow now. Timers ruin a lot of these express runs for no reason. Timer just before Nostrand Ave, Timer before Utica Ave., Timer on the Central Park run. Unless tracks need repair, no need for them.

I ❤NYC subway trains & i ❤NYC, wish you guys can do the Z train, I always take 1,2,&3 trains to my grandmas house and I would take the C& E Train to stonewall and the freedom tower
I wonder if the A train is the longest run in the MTA's line? Goes from upper Manhattan all the way to Rockaways. Thanks for the video, yours have the best view.
I am sooooo lost what is the purpose of all the extra track between Howard Beach and Broad Channel heading to Far Rock on the right after you cross the bridge???? The Shuttle doesn’t need all that track.
Thanks for sharing your observation. Some of those tracks are also used as test tracks for new/refurbished trains prior to entering fully into the system.
Love watching your subway videos on my big screen tv feels like I'm the motorman driving, but the garbage on tracks at certain stations is unbelievable New Yorkers need to use the trash bins instead of throwing it down onto the tracks.
I remember the single time I rode the A to 207....It was off peak, and the journey was creepy as hell, and the moment I needed to return, I took the 1 instead. Way more people around, way less...Errie than the northern portion of the A train.
Great observation; thanks for sharing. Which light are you referring to; the red/red home signal on the north bound track or the red timer signal the train approaches?
I'll go ahead and comment here; thank you for these. Reminds me of the days of my youth in the 80s when I used to look out the real fan window.
You ain't kiddin...that, to me, was always the best spot on the train.

Bellissimo filmato, complimenti. Un caro saluto a.D. 03.V.2024

Very good video as always!
I will say that as soon as you hit High Street, it should be "This is a Queens bound A train/A Express Train" until 80th St. Then from there it's "This is a Far Rockaway Bound A train".
🔥🫡
I ❤NYC subway trains & i ❤NYC, wish you guys can do the Z train, I always take 1,2,&3 trains to my grandmas house and I would take the C& E Train to stonewall and the freedom tower
Hello, could I save some sections as an audio for a documentation of the R46 I'm making? I will be sure to provide full credit.
You should do the 2/5 train to Flatbush
Request of R211A (A) Train from Far Rockaway/Mott Avenue to Inwood/207th Street
I wonder if the next video is going to be a b division route or a division route
Transfer at broad channel for the beaches at far rockaway
Can u do r train timelapse to bay ridge please I love ur vids btw

So many tracks at 135th street!
It’s only 6 tracks wide.
@@robroy6374 why is 6 needed? 2 local and 2 express is all that’s needed
Some tracks are believed to be used for both upper and lower levels of 145th street. 🫡
@@nybone24 the other 2 tracks are simply for storage
What kind of track work is being done between 207 & Dyckman? Just regular track replacement?
💯🫡
Can you make an A train video but driving an R211
It's it just me, or do the IRT expresses go *wasasy* faster than the BMT/IND ones?
Just like the first video you made.
1:39:33(I can see my old apartment)😥 I miss it
Wondering why y’all took down the A train to ozone park?

5:30-This station looks like ones here in Toronto (slightly).

I wonder if the A train is the longest run in the MTA's line? Goes from upper Manhattan all the way to Rockaways. Thanks for the video, yours have the best view.
That is correct; Thanks for your support. 🫡
How did you putted the camera on the rail without it getting run over it sounds weird
Is that an iPhone app that showed at the beginning of the video before the train left Inwood-207 Street? If so, what is that app called?
TravelBoast 🫡
@@wtaenyc Cool! Thank you for sharing the name of that app.
1:15:00 Aqueduct N Conduit, the "Adequate N Conduit" is inaccurate
🫡 Thank you
The R46 air ride is loud!
So what do the blue lights mean?
They indicated emergency phones/third rail shutoff switches
Ah… thanks!
Loose camera mount? There's a LOT of jostling in this vid.
Great observation 🫣🫡
Are you sure it's not the train rocking?
@@Elevatorelectricgate Compared to other videos, the camera is moving independently of the track irregularities.
Can I ask why the lights are on?
Thanks for asking. Which lights are you referring to?
@@wtaenyc the tunnels seem so bright while you are filming
@@LadyGoddessTarotThose are the train lights to see underground
Does this motorman only do two round trips a shift?
🙂↕️
Could you do something similar for some of the city bus routes?

If i remember correctly do the A train goes to queen?

Love watching your subway videos on my big screen tv feels like I'm the motorman driving, but the garbage on tracks at certain stations is unbelievable New Yorkers need to use the trash bins instead of throwing it down onto the tracks.
Thanks for sharing and looking forward to a cleaner system in the future, especially with observations like this. 🏆🫡♾️
the ozone park bound is deleted and we want that back, unless you have something better
🙃🫡
This is the longest line in the network I believe?
🏆💯
I remember the single time I rode the A to 207....It was off peak, and the journey was creepy as hell, and the moment I needed to return, I took the 1 instead. Way more people around, way less...Errie than the northern portion of the A train.
🫣
Were you pushin the R211?

Me love a train
Um A a TRAIN!!!!! 😮
is this an R-211?
Thumbnail, yes; train used in experience, coming soon! 🫡
The roadbed through the Rockaway stations needs to be cleaned before the track fires start.

Great observation; thanks for sharing. Which light are you referring to; the red/red home signal on the north bound track or the red timer signal the train approaches?
Got me wanting to drive a train 😂😂😂
Is this a R46?
Yep
