- For this weeks Dollar Tree DIY Room Decor I designed a table lamp I've seen on different designer websites. I absolutely love this design & the look of this lamp. It's very modern & chic! It's easy to create & cheap to make using Dollar Tree Materials.
Materials for this Project :
2 - Win 'O clock Decor Frames
1 Pack Acrylic Gems
1- 4x6 Frame Optional 2 Frames to use 4 - 6 inch sides
Craft Sticks or Dowles
JOT Gems
Bling (Optional)
Strands of Lights Optional (NO DRILL, Copper Led Lights)

Hey girlfriend. Congratulations again. This diy is so darn cute. I really appreciate the fact that you used lights that you plug up instead of battery operated lights. I really think they make a project more challenging. There's not too many youtubers that does demonstrations with plugins in their projects. And by the way, you know even if you had glued those popsicle sticks on the inside, you were still gonna end up adding that strip of bling on the top. lol! Very nice work. I am always looking forward to your next masterpiece. Enjoy your day.
Hahahaha you're right, I would've added bling to the top anyway ;) I'm loving this lamp. It's perfect & perfect size.
I'm telling you sis if you make this one you will LOVE it! I agree the plug in is nice & it indeed was challenging. I practice drilling for the right size on FOUR frames lol .... Oh I had a huge mess, a serious mess.
You know what ???? I need to show when I have projects I practice the designs on & share some behind the design scenes. O-M-G you just gave me an idea!! Ahhh! LOVE IT! I have another technique I do for power "plugin" lights that's super easy. You make me wanna share that too. Thank You, we actually went to the house earlier today & got the sizes of the windows. Of course I'm not buying anything for it until I know it's a done deal. As long as nobody offers them more money in the next couple of days I think we'll be in it pretty soon. You enjoy your day too!

I think in videos diys can look super simple thanks to editing software but leaving those struggles out kinda takes away from the project. I can't remember what I did in this one so I've gotta watch it when I get home from work tonight lol. I absolutely love your diy's. You are by far my favorite to watch. I really like this lamp and I will try and make one of these with my Swarovski crystals as I have been collecting them for yrs now. That was beautiful and it took a lot of work and like time coming up with the ideas or at least on my end that's how it looks and that makes it fun because I think a lot of times we think DIY from Dollar Tree oh it's something that'll only take a couple minutes you can hurry up and do it and you're done but no sometimes there's a lot of work but end of these ideas and I like what you did it's very very beautiful

I heard acetone works for the letters but I used a razor blade first then use the acetone just in case.
You're right! I've heard that too. Just finger nail polish alone didn't work but I've seen someone else take the letters off with acetone. She also said she couldn't get it with finger nail polish so she bought acetone.
Really though they scrapped off very easy!!! I thought I had two more & I planned on doing one on camera to show how easy & fast it was. I mean it took NO time! I was just gonna do em all at once & realized I broke the other two last week making the table .... of course I noticed after I had the letters scrapped off the ones I have left.

Please please please be careful with the foreclosure. Just about everyone I know who brought one, had trouble with the former owners damaging the property. Like cement in the plumbing or leaving all the water running 😒🙁 I'm praying you don't have any problems, damages and the closing goes thru without a hitch 🙏🙏🙏

LOL, Yeah I do right now especially. "Suspect?" umm New people watch every day. Just because you've seen other videos of mine & heard me saying the brand I use doesn't mean everyone watching knows. Feel free to read comments & see how often I answer that question then maybe you'll understand why I say it. The two videos before this one I answered A LOT of questions which took a lot of time. I just swapped very recently from E6000 ... not even a month ago so OF COURSE I'm gonna include that especially since the swap is a new move. I used E6000 in my videos for a year ... this is my 3rd video of using the new Clear Gorilla Glue. That's what I use & it's not abnormal for a content creator that shares diy tutorials to say what they use in the video. That's apart of my project so why wouldn't I? Literally thousands of new viewers come in on every video so I keep that in mind. If you're wondering since you feel it's "suspicious" of me ... NO I'm not sponsored by them at all. If I was I'd happily say I was. It'd be a blessing to be sponsored by them.
Having that said, I'm not gonna change the way I do my videos or what I share with ALL my viewers new or returning bc you have some kind of problem with me saying Gorilla Glue. I don't understand why that would bother anyone.

I was almost done with mine...& Close to posting...Hadn't seen this video yet...only the notification...( I go to finish up my Diy & horror )...with the Diy & With 1 of my children...I was feeling so discouraged...Tuesday morning...I see the notification again & start watching it...and BAM!!? Your solution...when you used the pieces of frame to the bottom...that became my solution as well...I had pieces of a broken frame from a previous Diy!...so why not use it? & So I did...

Again as usual I love love love it ! I had my daughter sit down with me to see your genius at work ! So amazing ! Some day I might try to do something light this. I'm not very good crafting . ..not to good with the glue . Very new with this even though I'm as old as time itself . Hahahahaha . I am also excited that you are getting a fixer upper . I've noticed,by accident, that diffuser oil seems to break down paint an marker's on solid surface, don't leave it on long and test a small amount.
