I’m 30 from Chicago and going to RSVP Gallery during my high school days from ‘08-‘12 was the coolest and freshest thing ever. Just to be able to see and feel these designers they mention in person was crazy and super inspiring. I mean just even seeing a POW chain in person was good enough for me lol
We need more this was so dope I was the kid that moved from AZ to TX and couldn’t skateboard anymore and was into sega master system. On the flip side Wu tang, belly, and UGK were the soundtrack. Fashion was Fubu, Lo, nautica etc
I loved how he explained how they finessed through the door in fashion that’s an excellent lesson in if you can’t get through the door then take a risk breaking through the window.
When you said a Zimbabwe Track Jacket u made me appreciate it more. Im from Zimbabwe man and Pusha T is my favorite, help me let him know that man I will appreciate
Bruh I remember being in middle school 6th grade when all this was happening ordering Bapes from a Japanese site with a lil visa gift card. Or trying so hard to atleast lol
Lmao at ZO talking bout that night at Slicks🤣🤣. I remember that. It was like 3am cause slicks was like the after hours and ZO walked up lookin WILD AS HELL🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣THEY FRIED HIS ASS LOL. Times are definitely different now 💪🏾💪🏾🫡🫡
Love this ! Can y’all include the @ name of these important figures that the guests and you two mention ? It’ll help people because I been looking for international Brenan for like two weeks lol
Another great episode. Don C is an amazing guest and storyteller. There's no doubt in my mind this podcast is going to blow up. The fashion space has been waiting for content like this. Glad it's arrived.
Couldn't believe this episode ended on a Cliff Hanger 🤦 So many dots connected. Bro gotta chime in on the Lo wear Segment. Tribe couldn't afford it everyday, had to go the Knights of the Round Table route...!! Salute my Negus
I’m convinced ZO just on this show to Flex and tell us what he did First!! Nothing to add unless he brings the topic back him!! Just give the show to the Other guy he seems to care more about Information and Education
Don C one of the goats. Please ask better questions next time or at least have some structure in your discussions. You either asked him questions he had already answered in other interviews or let the talk go left. He s too valuable of a guest to waste the opportunity to interview him like this
I for one wanted to find out why he sold the RSVP gallery location, whats going on with the museum he s planning to open (he s been teasing that for a while), on what kind of terms he s with ye currently and when exactly did they stop working together, the many never before seen samples of sneakers we never knew even existed (he s been pulling a lot of those out of the archives) and how Ian Connor lost and then again got the approval to bring back pastelle ++ many other things
Man the shit y’all doing so necessary for the culture. Dead appreciate y’all
Facts!
Needed this to be 2-3 hours, so much history and game🔥🔥🔥
Bruh NO OUTRO??🤦♂️Gotta be a PART 2 the way it ended 🙌
