- Getting to the Beach from Castillo Beach Bungalows Complex
Despite the name of the resort complex, Castillo Beach is actually quite a distance from the sea! In this video I will show you the route down to the beach via some landmarks to keep you on the right track.

Beach ⛱️ views ans Beach bungalows are worth watching and visiting.
Thank you so much for sharing this ❤
Thanks for watching and commenting Aishu. 🙂
It's also subjective and a matter of personal taste and I have friends and family that go to Fuerteventura every year and love it there but I never see the attraction, especially when it is such a long flight, which would cripple my knees now. At the end of the day, it does not matter what I think, if they enjoy it and you are enjoying it, good luck to you all, cheers Alan
Hi Alan. The attraction, I guess, is pretty much guaranteed good weather with all of the Canary Islands, even in December and January. I'm not sure I could live there though, I think I'd miss the greenery of the UK.
We're not ones to sit around the pool and drink beer like plenty of others. I'd rather be exploring the island or having a walk along the volcanic coastline, watching the waves on the turquoise sea, crashing over the rocks.
Looks a lovely destination, very clean! Lots to see and do! That beach is vast 👍
The beach is huge and there are a couple more, you can watch those in tonight's video. Thanks for watching Nick and Jill.
Like 5 Nice Wander too the beach ⛱️ Thanks for sharing with us, Andy 👍
Thank's Adzey, I think you missed the bit with the underpass in it - you wouldn't have been impressed with the graffiti ;)
just re watched needs more graffiti 😂😂@OutandaboutwithAndy
Great looking area, beach looked lovely. Thanks for showing us around 😊
Thanks for watching Cara, really appreciate it. I like this resort as it's not too big and still plenty to do.
Thanks for the lovely video. We stayed in the Beach Castillo bungalows near the reception where you set off from. Watching this has made us want to go back again. We had a really nice time there last March. The weather was hot and not a cloud in the sky all fortnight.
Thanks for watching Nigel. Check out some more of my Fuerteventura videos, you'll probably be booked up by the end of the day 😀.
Lovely catch for the thumbnail, Andy. Don't know why it reminds me of a certain Queen song? An absolutely beautiful area and stroll! Wonderful place to stay and visit. We're glad you enjoyed your time there! Thanks for bringing us along.
Thanks, Dave and Kathy, I think I know which Queen song you mean. 😉
It is a great island. We're heading back in March but to a different part of the island. Thanks for watching.
Looks fantastic, nice and quiet
It certainly gets busier in high season that's for sure. There wasn't a spare sunlounger on the beach though - the next day (Monday) you had a choice of them, now that was quiet, or was it just because it was windy that day??? Cheers for watching.👍
Looks a great place to visit 😊, thanks for sharing
Looks very clean
The beach is massive.
Happy New Year 🎉 looking forward to following your adventures in 24 😊
Morgs, Jo and Boo 🐕 ❤
Cheers for watching, guys. Caleta de Fuste is more of a family resort than Corralejo, but we really like the resort.
We'll be back in Fuerteventura in 2024 but at a different resort and we've also got a UK holiday planned too.
Such a nice day for a walk, those blue blue sky's say it all! Loving the complex, it's impressive just how much is readily available in the area, making it a one stop shop as a destination. 2.50 for a pint of cervesa? sign me up! hehe. Looked nice. Cor, that beach is gorgeous, love the palm trees and just how clean it looks! Thank you for the awesome tour!
Thanks for watching. The cheap beer is wasted on me as I don't drink....The beach is pretty nice and safe for kids in the water as it is a sheltered bay.
And here I was waiting to see you running the beach "Baywatch" style! lol I could use a nice warm beach right about now, but Otis is still in search of the perfect snow bank! Bruce and Otis
Now that's a scary vision, Bruce! Thanks for watching, and I hope Otis finds his perfect snow bank soon!
Hopefully the planes didn't keep anyone up. Competition is good for pricing. Beautiful stroll and very informative 👍👍
It was amazing how, after the first night, you didn't really notice the planes flying over. Thanks again for watching.
Nice walk Andy, I'm going to watch from the beginning, since I was a little late 😊
Thanks for joining the premiere, it's much appreciated.
It looks like you have the whole place to yourself! -Michelle
Hi Michelle, the beach doesn't look busy, but all of the sun loungers and parasols were taken. It was a Sunday when I filmed this and all the locals were on the beach. Monday was really empty!
Ahhh. gotcha. It has not been warm enough to lay on the beach here yet. Here's hoping warmer weather is coming!@@OutandaboutwithAndy
@@airstreamer same here at home, definitely not beach weather if you've seen my latest #shorts video 😀
I have not seen it. I'll go look for it!@@OutandaboutwithAndy
Lovely resort and town, but looks a bit too hot for me
22-24c in December during the day. With most of the Canary Islands, the winds coming in off the Atlantic do cool you down. It can get up to 30c in the summer months.
Cool Tunnel you wandered through. Needs more graffiti 🤣🤣
Definitely needs the bloke who did the other fish mural to get busy.
@@OutandaboutwithAndy definitely mate 👌
How hard was the walk back? The resort looks quite nice, but I don't think I can do 5 1/2 hours on a plane any more. Keith
The walk back was hard work in the heat. Once the Mrs found out it was less than 5 euros to get a taxi back to the resort, we only did it a couple of times. Thanks for watching Keith 🙂.
Looked quite a trek down there mate.
I would have grabbed a scooter myself. 🛴
It was a bit of a hike. It wasn't long before the Mrs realised that a taxi back was about 3 euros, so we often got a ride back. We still averaged over 12k steps per day.
@@OutandaboutwithAndy that’s more than enough I Rkn.
@@WanderingwithWatto one day I hit 19k steps, the Mrs did about 16. It was after that we started to get the taxis 😀
