    I really enjoy your videos. Even at 32 I can still use some of these and other tips that you posted and I really appreciate that you're not some stuck up pro that refuses to give out the type of info you do. Thanks a lot, and I will proudly still subscribe. Btw, if you do get that chance in MLS then I hope you come to The Dynamo haha. Thanks again! -Drew, Houston.

    My diet is super simple compared to yours. Basically just a staple breakfast of egg whites and oatmeal. Main meals chicken and veggies for snacks apples and nuts. My recovery shake is lactáid 2% milk, banana, spoon of peanut butter and 2 scoops of whey protein. That helps me recover 80% from leg day or a good soccer game. The rest is foam rolling and plenty of sleep 7-8 hours.

    Hey Matt,
    I've been watching your videos for a few weeks now and I really like the content. I'm also very stoked seeing your achievements in offseason. Could you do a video on what your gym training looks like exactly? How many reps, which exercises you are doing and what plan you have etc.?

      Dan you are going to have to accept that you will have to make sacrifices. I have not hung out with my friends as much since high school started and I was serious about soccer. I train 6 or 7 days a week, and even though I might have to stay up late to finish homework, I get it done.

    if you run 40 yard in 25-30 [°C] , you would propably had a 4,5 s. why? because in higher temperature muslces are warmer, and generates more power, than in cold days ;)

    Hey Matt I've watched your series for a long time and really like the videos that you make. They inspire me to train hard to achieve my goals. I was just wondering why you use creatine. Lots of my teammates have used it in preseason and saw great results but once they stopped using it they lost all of the gains that they had made while they were using the supplement. What has your experience been with that supplement and have you had any negative results. Thanks!

      No they don't..... There's 3 phases when you play football / soccer, Football Season (Where you play the games for the season and train with your team), Off-season (where the seasons finished and you can do what you want), pre-season (where you train with your team and have friendly's before the football season starts). For me it's May - June (Off - season), July to August (Pre-season), September to April (In-season).

  • @SebastianCarrillo

    Ok so I know you've probably been asked this before or have already answered but I just want to know if there are negative effects to taking protein at 16. I lift and play soccer and feel like I want to take protein idk if I need it or if just because it's an industry thing? My mom says its not good because it's proceeded and not natural? Is it safe to take or not??

    • @CRodriguez10
      @CRodriguez10 7 років тому +1

      Sebastian Carrillo protein powder is a food source not a supplement, it's derived from milk. It's just an extension of the foods you already eat, it's just more convenient because you can drink it instead of eating a chicken breast of fish, and if your mom tries bringing up the whole "processed" bs, ask her if everything she buys is organic and if it's not then that's processed also.
