In 2018 when David expressed all that anxiety about blackness, allegedly, I cringed. It made a lot of African Americans cringe too. I am glad he doesn't make me cringe anymore.

He simply pointed out the hypocrisy that those types of questions are never asked to his white colleagues. Why is on the black community to continually explain racism to the rest of the world. He clarified that false narrative on the higher learning podcast
