Greetings from Torrance! I know you were disappointed, but it says a lot when things are sold out. The food there must be really good. It does deserve a second visit maybe later in the year, but what you guys ate looked REALLY awesome! I think the DVW score is going up on the next visit. Thanks again everyone!
Man that happened to me too! I didn’t pre-order the duck so I had to settle with appetizers. I loved the hot and sour soup dumplings…they were amazing! But I don’t know if I would be rushing to go back. Kinda pricey for what it was. Glad you guys were able to try it out at least🤘🏼💯
I always forget to visit this place every time I'm in Vegas. I'll make sure to go eat there when I'm back in Vegas this April. Dan, one I place recommend you go try is called Izakaya Go, it's off the Strip but it's one of my favorite restaurants in Sin City. They open till like 2am, so it's a good place to go after you're a little drunk. Lol!
My stomach always flips when I see how much these places charge for their dishes. For what some of these eateries charge for their food, I can buy two months' worth of groceries, and that includes ingredients for my favorite libations. I understand treating yourself once in awhile, but not everyone can afford to do this these days.
Not to sound like an old lady, but we used to go to Asian restaurants for their tranquil, peaceful and gracious atmosphere. This sounds more like a nightclub.
The food is well worth the cost. The cocktails are to die for. Highly recommend "It’s Five O’Clock in Hong Kong" and "Hanami". Check the menu before you go. Dishes are seasonal. Tip, Book a early reservation during the week.
Oh Dan! We mentioned in our first Mott 32 video that you have to pre-order the Peking duck in advance (same for the Iberico char sui). Good to hear the other items were good. Makes us want to go back here after watching this. lol
hello dvworld, the venetian mott 32 should be mentioned as a nyc street in an italian water village - upstairs there is gondolas or outside too - i was a regular at the hong kong noodle (lunch spot) - before we forget beijing duck is not served with the manto - the porridge at the hong kong noodle was 16 dollars. ate plain congee with a plate of vegetables most days there. elle for white shirt black pants
Love peace from Las Vegas yeay layloma AD keep going stronger than ever inshallah god loves us all amen thank you for your hard beautiful work preasheat always I'm following you from long time it just pandemic hard life is getting in our lives give us a lot of prasher so much to do in this pandemic hard life one life to live stay safe happy healthy day and night inshallah god is with all of us right now always stay strong happy inshallah love love 💕😷🙌⚖️😘🌈🙌🤍💚💛💯🪜🕊️🤞👍😎🌍🙄✨🥀✅🙏💫🍋🌶️🤣😉🍗🍚🥡🥟🧋🍶🥢🍵🍱🦤😋😉😍
It's too bad they didn't give you any plate to place your food on either. As I see you had to eat the fried rice with the serving spoon, and then everything else over the platters of food. You can't be disappointed with the restaurant, as it wasn't their fault you didn't reserve/preorder the signature dishes prior to your reservation date.
hello dvworld , the drinks are average price (mixed) - all the eats prices are or should be 5 dollar cheapers. that is not a let down. other travelers from countries - locked here to play - pay say... peking duck for 2 is at $30 when it should be $20 may be... elle for nice music with peking duck there
hello dvworld, the shaolong bao looks thin with four pieces - thank you for using chopsticks while saying the orange mix drink is pretty good in a chinese restaurant serving dim sum place with alcohol. elle for over 21 chat there
Sorry you didn't get to order what you went for but at least you tried some good food. Sorry about the late view. Have been having some family medical issues so very behind on You Tube videos. Trying to catch up.
Most high-end restaurants are famous for their ambiance and good looking people watching. Portions are unusually small and the prices are highway robbery. Either you are a high roller or got too much cash to spare or totally insane to be in any of this type of restaurants.
Overpriced, small portions, underwhelming service. Very disappointing transition from the food truck. Not recommending taking the time to get to the location. Better quality, better quantity better prices in the Chinatown area or off strip.
Love your videos, you can tell your disappointment In this video. Not sure Mott can even compete with the places down the street In Chinatown. Go there and save your money.
If a white guy pronounced it as 'Pekking' rather then 'Pee-king" duck he would be taken to pieces in the comments. Ur not white but embarrassing in a different way dude...
Crispy fried Porkduck. I want to try that😉🤣
Haha the Mott tails got me 😂
Sooooo funny :-)
Good review, great video…
I ate there last year with friends, we enjoyed it !
Thanks mark 🙌🏼
Awesome Video Dan and Leah the food looked so Delicious
Thanks Ikaika 🙌🏼
Hi Dan & Leah, Hope you both are doing well. Awesome dishes, love it 🥰 Can’t wait for your next review. Happy Tuesday!
Thank you! You too! Hope you are well
I am with you Dan! Love me some sea bass. That crunch was heard here in Arizona.🤦🏾♀️😂😂🤣
Haha ASMR 😂

Thanks for stopping by Paul!

Yep it is pretty pricey here, but I actually enjoyed the appetizers haha, we got stuck in the same boat

Vegas is pretty pricey forsure
Never had to pre order food at a restaurant before
It's actually common with Peking Duck. Often you need to do it 24-48 hours in advance at authentic family-run Chinese restaurants :-)
Not to sound like an old lady, but we used to go to Asian restaurants for their tranquil, peaceful and gracious atmosphere. This sounds more like a nightclub.
Yea it’s quite loud in there
What are 'Asian' restaurants? Lot of countries in Asia with very different cuisines...
The food is well worth the cost. The cocktails are to die for. Highly recommend "It’s Five O’Clock in Hong Kong" and "Hanami". Check the menu before you go. Dishes are seasonal. Tip, Book a early reservation during the week.
Lol at watching all the soup from drumpling spill out.

That's like wanting to goto hells kitchen and they're out of wellington! Should've taken a rain check as not to be so disappointed
Next time
A great many restaurants that server Peking Duck need 24 hr notice, not uncommon
Thanks for sharing brother :)
You bet!
From my experience, most places require a pre order for Peking Duck. (You pronounce it pecking, I’ve heard pee-king, which is correct?)

Come on. This place is completely overpriced and overrated.
High end Chinese food is a joke.

Mott32 is definitely on my places to try on my next LV visit.
Have you tried the Peking duck at Tao? It’s delicious!
I have not! Thanks for the recommendation though!

First! Sup Dan and Leah
Hello 🙌🏼
I don’t know if this restaurant is worth the expense. Might just stick with my local Din Tai Fung and pass on Mott 32 for my Thanksgiving trip.
Wow! Expensive Chinese food! Is it worth the money? I can’t see myself dropping $300 plus for Chinese food!
it's worth the money
That place is okay but extremely overpriced. I would prefer to go to Chinatown dine I'm more authentic Chinese food.
Whoever suggested mott to you should have told you to reserve the duck and the iberico pork.. those are really only reason to go to mott

hate those noisy loud music restaurants in the big casinos .....
Sorry you didn't get to order what you went for but at least you tried some good food.

Hope you and the family get better Yvonne
The food looks amazing, but is the food worth the money.
The food was pretty good

Thanks for watching Tom!
He’s eating with the serving spoon
Frog legs are pretty good.
Perhaps next time

maybe the $20 trick might have worked?
wow I need to open up a restaurant. $26 for rice? foh..
I’ll visit your restaurant
How about a Pho review? Time to show your roots.
Good idea, perhaps soon
Overpriced mediocrity.🤮
It sure is. Dan isn't trustworthy
If in mood for Asian? I'll Uber to Chinatown
Chinatown has some great options, stay tuned, I did a Chinatown crawl
ALWAYS CALL AHEAD👍
Dan it's pronounced Pking.
