This is the most dramatic music I have ever heard for curling. I wish I understood what was happening.
A little too exhilarating lol.
Basically you try to get your stone as close to the center of the ring as possible. Points are avoided for every stoke that beats the opponents best stone in center-proximity
It's a very strange music choice.
The slow and steady but incredibly precise aspect of this sport is so appealing. Really nice video

Most of these were great, but two of them were just placing the stone in the middle of the house with no obstacles and a large margin of error. Anybody who takes part in the Olympics ought to be able to do that.

theyre on the "impressive" list because those draws were for the win of each of those games and they made the shots, even under the pressure/stress.

With due respect to Jennifer Jones and Eve Muirhead, an open draw to the button (one with backing) doesn't qualify as a "most impressive" shot. Both these teams and skips have made much better shots 10 times over. Figure it out!

Wasn't a fan of curling before the 2018 Olympics, but watched the gold medal game and that 5-pt end is one my top 2 all-time Winter Olympic memories. My #1 being the 1980 semifinals men's "miracle" hockey game between the US and USSR.
