Yes sir it is! I'm wanting to do that very soon and I'm going to start on a shed this year also. I actually fell off there a couple weeks back, thank the Lord I didn't hit my head and get hurt. Thanks for watching and commenting
Shannon I really enjoy watching you tune up an set back to working the old McCoy mill. Sure is a learning process for me! I learn something every day I saw. Hey that lower set of dogs seems to grab at the log rather than push in and slip by. Watch Marks, maybe they were replaced for a reason or that’s how they should be? Seemed those were grabbing half assed too low and not letting that top dog work properly, least from the camera angle, they don’t show the whole picture. Nice work fellas, be well.
You're all over it, Rob, a few weeks ago I couldn't clamp down a 3" board and I needed to cut a big order of 3" batten. So, I added to them which works great for that but it is causing a great big problem letting the top dogs clamp. I thought I would make another set original size and swap out when I needed these here. But, yeah you saw it right. I was having a time getting the top dogs to bite. I appreciate it.
That video will give you a lot of great information and thoughts for how to do more sawing on this mill. Looks like a fun project, and you will get some good lumber for building.. a walkway, at least. 😉🙂 The jerking and banging may be something like a piece of cloth or belting under the sawyers cab. Can see something under there flopping around.
Yes mam, I agree. I already recorded a video for next week and the camera is in the same spot. But we will record again next for the following weeks video and I will place the camera like you suggested. One of these days I'd like to make a camera mount like Mark Galici has. I sure do appreciate you watching and commenting though. God bless.
I sure will, Mike. I have one more video to show next week with the same view but after that I will place the camera as you suggested. I really appreciate you watching and commenting
I appreciate you watching and commenting, buddy. I'm praying you find happiness in another video of mine using a better camera angle to your liking. God bless!
Bout time you build some steps to the cab, great sawing.

I spent a lot of time picking slabs off my Uncle’s Jackson Timber Harvester mill similar to this. Enjoyed hearing the DD run all day.
Great memories I'm sure. Thanks for watching and commenting

I think what you are seeing is the sawdust belt .
Wish I was still playing with woodworking could come to the mill and get some boards....live out at the Red Barn 31E...Great Vid👍👍👍👍👍👍
We could hook you right up. Thanks for watching and commenting
Good effort given to saw this bad pine log. The offbearer boys didn't have much to do, but looked to enjoy their time.
Oh yeah, we enjoy just hanging out and helping each other. They're good boys
They say it is hard to make a silk purse out of a pigs ear but i think you came close on that ugly log . Thumbs up for even trying .
Lol. I've never heard that one. I like it! I sure do appreciate you watching and commenting.
this mill is very much like the one Mike McCoy of the Real McCoy channel had. He unfortunately passed a way and his family had to sell the mill.
This is Mike McCoy's mill
I'm glad the mill is still being used, I really liked to watch Mike such a friendly fella.@@arkansas1336
Yes sir I bought it from the McCoy family in early 2022. I sure do appreciate you watching and commenting. God bless
Nice sawing. Great video

I like the videos but wish the camera was someplace else so we could see the boards as they are being cut and what they look like.

Good video, real life!
Thank you
Put the camera facing the blade as the boards are Going Into it going.
your off bearer side
I sure will, Mike. I have one more video to show next week with the same view but after that I will place the camera as you suggested. I really appreciate you watching and commenting
That don't seem to be very happy log. It don't want to be cut.
It was very unhappy. But got her in a better mood soon enough. We sawed some pretty lumber
What type of mill is that again?
It's a Frick O1C
That is an ugly log for sure
It sure enough was. But it made some nice siding after it gave up fighting me. Thanks for watching and commenting
this camera view sucks
I appreciate you watching and commenting, buddy. I'm praying you find happiness in another video of mine using a better camera angle to your liking. God bless!
