Also the Deck on the ZT elite is more deep than on the Avenger. That's going to give you a bit more sturdy of a deck for the elite

New owner of a maverick here. I think it's a step up from the elite. Bad boys entry grade commercial unit. For what it's worth the biggest reason I spent the extra cash on it is the hydro gear 3200 final drives and the suspension. Fo far (only 10 hours) I'm not regretting my decision. I figure I can probably easily get 2000 hours out of it.

Looking at the Avenger over the MZ Magnum because of the upgraded transaxles. Should I expect to get longer life out of the Avenger because of that?

How much deeper is the elite deck? I know he said in one of his videos but I can’t remember which.

$5199 for the kawasaki Elite lol. More like $5600 for the 7000 pro 60" around here

We have both the Avenger and the Elite. If I can get to one before the other. I will jump on the Elite. Why, adjustable seat, a little better ride and armrests. They both cut very well.
The only complaint I have about the Elite. The seat will fall forward into the foot pedal for the deck and scratch and bang up the armrest . We actually added a small 3mm braded stainless cable so the seat will not fall all the way forward. Its also can be used to pull the seat aback towards the down position.
That would be a nice improvement on mower.

Avenger you said rated at 22hp. I see the video is 3 years ago. Today I looked at an Avenger says 26hp. I know nothing about mowers btw. The hydrogear difference means what? I mow 3 rather bumpy acres, only my yard so which would you pick for me? Comfort isnt worth a grand to me. Thanks so much for the video !!!

Only bad thing about zero turn is while mowing you can scratch your nuts or take a drink of that beer..
I just got me a tight turn mower by craftsman..i was surprised how tight it turns ..

Kawasaki is the only way to go, I wouldn't consider anything else.

@@tylerdurden5034 Yes I have one. Excellent motor. Made in USA. My dad has a Husler with Kawasaki 23hp, w/ 2800 axles. I have a Bad Boy w/ Kohler 23hp w/ 2800 axles. Both are rated at 7mph, but unknown reasons my mower smokes his. Mine is faster. We did a high grass test, mine never slowed. His bogged a little but still did great. I honestly dont think you can go wrong either way. Both are very reliable, Kohler is made in USA, Kohler is cheaper. Kohler is the way to go IMO. Honestly i dont think you can go wrong with Kohler, Kawasaki, Honda, or even Briggs & Stratton. I have another mower that has a Briggs 20yrs old & its still running, never had an issue. My generator is a Briggs & Stratton, & it is absolutely excellent. If I had the choice & I did when I bought my Bad Boy, Kohler.

@@jasonSC01 I second that opinion. I've run 3 Kohler 7000 series engines and my current one has almost 400 hours. Not saying that's a lot but it has been a completely trouble free 400 hours and it gets used about 10 hours a week. The only problem I've had with any of the 3 was that on one of them the exhaust manifold bolts came loose causing it to lose the gasket and be really loud, very quick fix. After my experience with Kohler's I cant see justifying spending more for the Kawasaki option, especially when the Kohler option generally has more HP and torque.
