Ends with j.C > j.D in the corner to get good oki. 3:14 confirm into 6C for corner carry. Again ends with j.C > j.D for oki Use rapid for defense with guard cancels or DP RC or for offense by canceling a move like crest to extend pressure. 4:26 jump barrier, dash back A fireball for space 4:28 confirm on crouching hit. Don't bother doing this for now, stick to the basics 4:46 space out your normals 4:56 DP air dash back B fireball to get away 5:03 double fireball to create space 5:42 nice blockstring, 6D > j.fireball, avoids mash, if it hits dash in and combo like that or if doesn't, you can still probably go for it as you'll be plus from 6D or you can dash away and then zone out. 6:14 DP punish as it is a counter hit. Uses the OTG from j.2BBB again Use 3C on juggle to setup a 5D > 214B for loops midscreen or 6D > (jc) j.C > 5D for loops in the corner 7:31 optimal combo from a jump in using 6D > j.fireball > 66 j.C, and then a setup with j.C > j.D 7:54 setup using 3C juggle then set up a 2D, meaty 5A, three jabs then crossup j.C. Probably can do 2 jabs then throw before 2D is active, or 6A for a same side overhead Block with 4 ABC to tech throw or block an attack 8:27 blockstring from a far reaching button 4D (?) > 214C > (?) 8:42 optimal combo from 2B poke Uses 6D j.C, loop j.5D then loop 6C, then setup with IAD j.D 8:56 anti-air combo 10:16 Air-to-air combo 12:47 6A > 3C works. I'm always on Fenrich's side as a 10-years-Jin-main but man- Those judges could really use some impartiality, clearly rooting for a side.. How do they even hire these guys ? Like, that Es did fucking great and I'm not even a fan of the char one bit.
they're english commentators at a japanese event, they're just there for the stream as an afterthought lol, you can hear the real commentary in the background. they're obviously not taking it as seriously as they would being a main commentator, which is fair tbh
