This was fantastic! Really loved this rules explanation, no frills, succinct but thorough. Now I'm itching to play Kokoro again. Also I totally wasn't expecting a shout-out, so thanks! You need to make more rules videos.
Plumpy Thimble Thank you! I wouldn’t have purchased this game if it wasn’t for you so I thought it was only fair to give you a shout out :) I need to figure out how to add more hours to my day so I can make more rules videos lol.
How did you get to 18 points for A? When I Count I Count only 16 points , inlees you go past another sanctuary such as C where you got the extra 2 points. I'm asking this because me and my girlfriend were arguing about this. She says you cant Count past another sanctuary I say otherwise...
Frederik Tessenaere Yes you can count past another sanctuary. Add all the caterpillars and flowers connected to the currently scoring sanctuary and ignore all other sanctuaries.
@@MyklSkeleton Thanks so much for this video! Can you clarify why you didn't count further past the C path and also the B and E paths when counting points for A? Some rule clarification on BGG states that you can join a line scored in a previous round and score those points a second time. Thanks again!
@@kindredspiritm The issue is that I didn’t show the full game and you are looking at the final board at the end of the game. It’s safe to assume that when I scored A (during the next to last round) that I didn’t have everything connected in a big line like it is at the end. So I only scored 18. Then for the final round I connected that A path to F and “rescored” those 18 points plus the new ones from connecting the 2 paths. Does that make sense? It’s also possible that I made all those numbers up but I’m pretty sure I played it out for real to avoid confusion. Hope that helps!
