I love these! Super cute and easy to make! It would be fun to put a whole meal of recipes in there and giving them in a gift basket for a bridal shower, or birthday, even a hostess gift when you go to someones house for dinner.

I enjoyed reading all the comments. A lot of good ideas. I think I would do a combination. Include a gift card, a few encouraging notes, scripture passages, perhaps a joke or two Make it fun to explore. If the recipient wanted, they could take out what I put in and put in whatever they wanted.

There is so many possibilities with the design. I thought of seeds packets, various teas, you stated gift cards, recipes, labels, ephemera, etc. Thanks for the idea.

I think one way I would use it is to create a "thankful" gift for my friends, especially with Thanksgiving right around the corner. In each pocket, I would create a decorated notecard with reasons I am thankful for them on the back. THANKS for the inspiration! ❤

I had school the same way in the 70's. We called it 45,15. Went to school 45 days was off 15. We had 4 districts. I liked it, we didn't get bored waiting for school to start again.

Cute project. I have grandsons who collect sports cards and Pokémon cards. I have paper that would make folders related to their collections and I can add new cards for them.

Love this idea!! I would use this to share favorite recipes with friends or I would also add this into a journal and tuck notes inside each pocket. I love to add notes to family members in my pockets, this would be a different way to do that. It would also be great to put older photos in each pocket, that way you are not gluing or taping the photos.

When we had my dad’s 60th bday party, we had 60 cards & my siblings & I all wrote memories on the cards. I think I’ll make this to put this little cards in. Love the idea!

I LOVE this idea! I think these would be nice for cash envelopes, to use in budgeting, especially for teenagers or college students. They also are great for putting in a few of your favorite recipes and gifting to a newlywed. I will make some with Christmas papers and tuck in some tea bags and honey sticks and tie with a ribbon for coworkers. I think they would be good for hot cocoa packets too with winter themed papers. I have a huge stash of 6x6 papers and this will be perfect for giving a little something to friends and coworkers for Christmas. Thanks for sharing!

So very cute!! A cute way to keep receipts organized for expenses, scripture cards to give out, teaching a child about saving money for a rain day activity, a purchase they want to make or bills saving and so many other things!! You could fill them with recipes for a bridal shower/new house gift, an assortment of teabags for a get well gift or advice for bridal/baby shower. 😊

I love this idea! I am going to do this on a larger 8 1/2 x 11 size, add gussets so my pockets are bigger. Then fill it with recipes! I have so much cooking paper I got in a haul I purchased! Perfect way to use it and have it be useful!! Thank you sooo much!❤❤❤
