Right. And the first hate comment was so silly too, even if he was right about no one ever doing this before it doesn't invalidate it or make it a bad tip.

    • @stuntmonkey00
      @stuntmonkey00 2 місяці тому

One of the things that you see on Instagram... for just about anybody bigger creator... is that the first comment is aggressively negative or hateful. This isn't a surprise, it's not just that people are terrible, which they are, but that troll farms (Russian and hard-right, notably) intentionally go around sowing disunity . it's infected basically every corner of the internet, they don't care about the content, their job is just go make everybody unhappy.
The other thing is that, yes, people are incredibly terrible. You might have a small focused audience, but the algorithm decides to show your stuff to somebody outside the niche and they automatically react badly. This seems to especially plague the anime/cosplay community.
But mostly... let's face it... body building and resistance training is a young male oriented niche, and things on the internet that are populated by young males are inherently prone to being uncivil. Think competitive gaming, cryptobros and cars...not exactly known for gentle humble and willing to listen audiences.

@@davidaguascaTo be fair to the guy, there’s actually a decent chance it was barely in his control, nor him personally attacking Eugene because he doesn’t like him (he very well may in fact like Eugene and his content, especially if he gave it a proper look).
We can’t rule out roid rage, we all make memes about it and it’s become a pretty big stereotype, but it is real, and it’s illogical as hell. His comment fits the bill in that regard, it’s completely illogical, it’s difficult for me to believe that a guy with enough training experience to be using anabolic steroids and achieving the results he clearly is, would genuinely not know better and wouldn’t be aware of the stupidity, and quite frankly, invalidity contained within his criticism.
He’s gotta be either a complete jerk, or was suffering from roid rage (and is most definitely continuing to suffer), or, alternatively, he’s an idiot who’s stumbled his way along, violently bumping into just enough luck to succeed to the extent he has in the process, and has let that get to him, inflating his ego.
Social media bro, it’s the new Wild West I tell ya, a nutcase here, a nutcase there, and thankfully, a few guys like Eugene to stand up to the insanity.

Anyway, I switched to overhead triceps extensions and it's all fine.

My make shift solution for the instability is to get as close to the cable as possible without it touching my forehead (so the cable runs nearly vertical), have my hips forward and glutes activated, and lastly to put a toque on to protect my forehead from getting cut by the cable by accident, again. Set-up requires a toque.

The simple reality is we live in a hurting world and “hurt” people, hurt people. In other words, you give what you have and there are a lot of hurting people who just give hurtful things to those that are good. Even people like Eugene who genuinely care and want to help. At the end of the day the people posting any type of negative comment are people who are hurting on the inside. I’m not justifying there actions because by all means they are wrong but that’s just reality. That’s why it’s always good to show kindness and love to all people because we don’t know what’s going on in everyone’s life and kind words can change a broken heart

I've always found with UA-cam, Twitter (insert whatever social media platform you want) that people are sooooo ready to react and be negative when they severely lack understanding and context. Fuck em, chief. Your videos are fantastic.

“Or you’re hairline “ I swear bro 😂I love the passive offensive insults , you’re great man , not because of the factual responses but because of the work you put on these vids , and the way you explain you’re reasoning , not everyone goes through that trouble. Oh I just realize…. You’re over complicated the explanation 😬I hope the haters don’t get mad😆

I see what you're saying. I need a deadpool mask to max out my gains.

Now I know I'm up to snuff with that 50% bodyweight metric. I'll take it! I've done my bodyweight for three even.

Such a simple and powerful concept, that will help many people reach their goals. And throughout the channel there is such transparent, unbiased, and helpful information on fitness and nutrition. These hate comments are definitely sent by meatheads.

Eugene... Tell me... Completely off topic, i'm aware! How much did you pay for the Deadpool mask?
I think that's a part of the reason why i fell in love with your channel in the first place. It's educational, interesting, fun and entertaining. And every now and then, little deadpool appears
I may have made an educated wish to become slightly better at mastering my own bw ❤💛

As far as an exercise tweak goes, this is pretty simple and easy… (not at all complicated). I think if you see something like this, try it a few times and see how you feel about it rather than immediately reacting.

People on the internet don't like logic unfortunately, and every one of your videos is filled with rational, sensical explanations, which apparently is bad? (I don't understand it either),just ignore the hate and keep doing you

Damn, me being overweight and/or not being strong enough, I never really experienced this 😅, but I can see how it might be problematic if you're lighter. Nice tip.

Hi Eugene instead of doing the tricep push down on an adjustable pulley try doing them on a lat pull-down machine with half of the resistance that you would use on the adjustable pulley you will find the experiment interesting stay safe and healthy
