Same! I am a sucker for really really good vocals that's why I super love our boys (SB19) and it's hard for me to stan other groups because of my standard for singing (LIVE). Then these girls debuted and I was really really impressed plus the fact that they are all really gorgeous and good in dancing too.. Now I'm a lowkey fan of G22.

Our language is totally made for rapping, very syllabic and has a lot of plosives as mentioned by another reactor, Waleska Herrera. There are also a lot of glottal stops which contributes to this. It’s cool how you guys also mentioned it.
It's actually a great language for both singing and rapping. There are so many open vowels. A lot of A's in tagalog/Filipino. This lends well to singing.

I just started following G22, SB19 really paved the way for PPOP. I only stan SB19 before, not realizing there are actually many other groups.😂 So, I started watching other groups and G22 stood out for me amoung the girl groups. :)
PH has explosive girl groups, vocally superior, full of swag and attitude, and dance with on point synchronicity.

Since you like harmonies, check out 4th Impact. They deliver harmonies in spades. They are relatively older (age wise) than the other ppop girl group members but they are new to the ppop genre.
As you said, these ladies just got into the biz. If you want to hear what a Ppop girl group that has been performing for years sound like? 4th impact is under the ShowBT management. Same one where SB19 came from . These 4 sister can sing and harmonize like no other.
G22 may dominate one day but for now, there are still newbies and a lot of established artist that are on a higher level. You have just scratched the surface of pinoy performing artists.

thank you for liking our language ❤❤❤ I never really thought too much about it before. to be honest, Filipinos are kinda purist when it comes to talent. especially singing. You won't get to be a star if you don't have REAL talent. So basically our singers has to be the real deal, like really good at live singing or the person will get mocked or won't get the support they needed.
I love this two guys everytime they cover a Filipino artist they're always appreciative and expect a positive reactions. first time seeing and hearing this gals wow they're good....I'm a fan now....

For me, imho they are much reminiscent of 2NE1 in terms of powerful stage presence and vocals + raps to add they both have that dance machines. They are very very energetic on stage, I have seen them on Popstival 2022 and immediately became a fan/bullet! To think they only debuted last year, I can also say potential to be PPop Legends. 🌟
Edit: They performed the rock version of Bang in Popstival and it was waaay waaay too lit! G22 is a vocal powerhouse and their charisma is 💯🔥

I really like G22 & Kaia but Bini is equally talented & beautiful (still waiting for a song I can really vibe with from them). I noticed that most if not all PPop boy & girl groups are vocally impressive. It's truly Filipinos strong suit and PPop grps do not disappoint. They will basically be crucified by the public if they cannot sing & harmonize live (acapella). Since this pop & group style of performance is not as popular in the country as soloists or bands, ppop groups need to hustle to gain and establish an energized fanbase. Its also good to take note that successful OPM groups are usually from indie/rock/alternative genres, hiphop or chorales. Give it time, the industry will catch up with the budget expected with today's standard of styling, production, mvs & promotion. More Ppop reviews pls. Thanks!

I didn't know this group until I attended Popstival, and then I saw them performed BANG live and I was amazed when they sing live, ohgod I still remember it until now how great they are. I highly recommend to watch them live 😉
