- As part of my report to Stakeholders in Australia and PNG, I was able to visit Sampun Primary School. I was very blessed and surprised to be given such an invitation which was overwhelmingly humbling (was abit embarrassed, to be treated like a dignitary). I brought a team of Officials from Wungniet Co-operative Society Limited (WCSL) to all school community visits. Furthermore, there will be a video of the team, as we visit 2nd/22nd Battalion St. Paul's Tol High School the following day.
I must thank sincerely the Principal of Sampun Primary and her Board for organizing the day. It started off with a Church Mass for the blessing of the Education Resources. Sampun was one of the four schools who did not have a WISHLIST, however, I included them, sharing surplus resources like computers, books, early childhood school learning kits, and some sports equipment etc. I also had the opportunity to meet with the youth of Sampun/Tagul Ward, and Taimtop/Wawas Ward. This was after I completed my bi-yearly visit, paying my respects to relatives at their resting place which included my parents, my grandmother and grandfathers, and all relatives - R.I.P.
A special thank you to Ernest Vlongmas (Early Childhood Student) and my cousin Dorothy Aiyan (Chairlady on the Board of East Pomio Womans Group, as well as Board of Sampun/Tagul WARD for their assistance with the camera work. THANK YOU🙏
