Just got these pedals tonight. I have a desk setup and they replaced some G27 pedals. At first I was absolutely lost. THank you so much for this video, it walked me all the way through to find the manual and the right software download, I completely missed it. Same with the setup. I left them as is out of the box and they feel good. I dialed the brake pressure way back as I am using them under a desk and they work really well. Its odd they feel odd yet smooth and I can almost feel once I get some time with them the consistency will improve. Already I can see my trail braking way better and my fast time on Okayama is only .3 second slower but my average lap time of 22 laps is .500 seconds faster and this is in the session I first tried them. I cant wait to see how they are in a week. Anyway, threw a sub your way to say thanks . GG my friend and thanks
Thanks for the sub mate and I am glad that you like them. Glad my video helped you set them up. With them being under a desk definitely have to tune them down as they can be quite stiff if you like, but the consistency you can gain is crazy. These are my favorite pedals by a country mile. Did you end up getting the clutch too, or just the 2 pedal set? I have custom CNC pedals on mine too, will be offering them soon. These pedals are amazing to say the least.
@@grayzedynamics I just picked up the throttle and brake for now. I have been using the auto clutch forever but I may in future pick one up to go sort of old school : ). Just back into iracing after a decade away and just trying to find my speed again. And ya i did dial the pressure way back as I dont want to roll back each time I brake LOL. I am planning on building a DIY rig but wanted to upgrade my wheel and pedals at least now. I have to admit the pedals feel weird after using the G27's all this time but I can also imagine once I get the muscle memory down and them tuned finally they will be way way more consistent.
@tracer0017 nice yeah being away so long will make things difficult but you'll get it I am sure. I use auto clutch. I don't play with any cars that use a clutch, plus it is uncomfortable too. I'm no skinny dude lol
Thanks man it is much easier to setup the pedals in this way. I was just pushing the brake and trying to make it automatic instead. And yes i hate to read manuals, thats my weakness xD
Amazing video my friend! Thank you for that extremely clear explaination. I LOVE these pedals, however the software are their Achiles heel, as you MUST read the manual in order to successfiully set them up. My old Fanatec CSL Elite V2 pedals were much more straight forward in comparison. I have "Liked and subscribed" as a Thank You for such a useful video.
Hey mate. Thanks for the sub and like. The pedals are amazing, the software could for sure be better. Once you use it and get what it is asking it makes it easy but not as straight forward as others. I had the CSL pedals from fanatec as well and was really easy. Same with HE sprints. But these are light years better than both of those. Lol.

Woohoo... Welcome to the club Rene_Bo. They are amazing pedals once you get the small issues out the way. The software could definitely use some improving, but once you get it, not so bad.
Hi. I haven't used the VRS pedals but I have used the Heusinkveld Ultimates and I hear they are very similar. For the price to performance id get the VX-PRO'S. They have more brake force than the Sprints and are comparable to the Ultimates. I am much more consistent and haven't even come close to maxing them out. The throttle is really good as well. The software once I understood it is easy to use. I honestly think they are all good pedals. You cannot adjust as much as the Sprints but honestly I don't need that many adjustments. I use them 90 degrees and that's easy for me. I am glad I upgraded. I wanted the extra break force from 65kgs to 90kgs. If your on the fence I'd say get the VX. You won't regret it.
Oh man I just got these pedals, I could not figure out the difference between Raw and Out. Thanks so much for this video, it solved all my questions. Btw I never understood why they added a load cell at the throttle. Who would ever want to put additional effort to get to 100% throttle? Have you ever figured out what the "Calibrate" button on each axis is it for?
Glad I could help. Yeah load cells on throttle are useless but hey doesn't hurt to have it. As for calibrated I haven't done it in a while. Let me do it again and I can share. Been a while since I calibrated lol.
Have you tried any of the Axes Curves? Your initial review is right in line with Dan Suzuki's intial review. These VX PRO's at this price point are steal based on other higher end Load Cell products. Loving mine.
I have but I honestly leave them as linear. I should have added that to the video. I did show in the intial review. Dude these pedals are amazing and for the money it is a steal. Even at the full price. They should sell for much more. At least VRS pedal price.

Strange, my brake pedal seems to max out at around 7350 raw value. Both the clutch and the gas pedal go well over this limit when I bottom them out and keep pushing but the brakes just seem to stop once I press them down fairly hard.
So the key is to calibrate the throttle and clutch till it hits the bottom and use that number to calibrate. Also making sure not to exceed the maximum setting in the directions. For the brake it is really. Feel thing but making sure not to Max out the load cell. Although it is rated to 200 kgs. I believe the recommended settings don't go that high. So it doesn't show connected in the VX-PRO tool? Did you grab the correct calibration tool? I initially grabbed the wrong tool. There is one specific to the VX-PRO's.
Wow thank you so much for making the video! I'm having trouble opening the software/app itself. Does windows recognize the pedals as a separate device when you plug in the USB? I assume you just downloaded the file, double clicked it, and it opened automatically? I am being told that several files are missing even though I can see them downloaded. Same thing happened when I tried to open them on my laptop. I turned off all security and protection settings that might block the software from opening and made sure to try and open as administrator. Let me know if you have any thoughts. Great video btw!
Are you downloading using Chrome? That's what I use and I get an alert it is trying to block. I have to select keep. Are you downloading zipped or unzipped file? What are you using to extract the file? If you have a discord, message me on discord and we can set up something in the evening. I can try and help ya out.
@@grayzedynamics Hey thank you for the reply. I'm using chrome and do need to allow the app to be downloaded. I tried zipped and unzipped and even downloading the .dll files that were "missing" and got an error code 000000xbc or something along those lines once I replaced the .dll files. I disabled firewalls and other defensive procedures that my computer might have taken. Spent a couple hours on it last night but no luck so far. Perhaps I'll try DL'ing it with firefox but the weird thing is it happened on my laptop too. Perhaps you can show a quick download and install tutorial? I'm stumped! Thanks man
@@grayzedynamics Okay issue resolved. It is a particular Windows 11 security feature that is automatically enabled unless upgrading from Windows 10 apparently. Hit windows key > Settings app > Privacy & Security > Windows Security > Device Security > Core isolation details > make sure memory integrity is off > make sure Microsoft Vulnerable Driver Blocklist is off. Time to test these puppies out after my back heals up.
been messing with these pedals all day and so far im not impressed. I cant get any pedal travel with my brake at all even removing spaces and washers and putting it on the lower setting does nothing. The user manual is garbage and doesnt help and then they software for me just glitches and crashes and then doesnt even let me calibrate or reset so my brake the green bar is just sat in the middle and if i press my throttle or clutch nothing comes up. Why do companies still keep coming out with pedals and software like this.
I will say the software wasn't the most intuitive I have ever used but after a bit, I got it to work. I just couldn't figure out if I could set the max strength of the pedals. As for the travel, that I was able to get. If you need help, you can always hit me up on discord and I can try and assist.
@@grayzedynamics i finally got the software to work cos for me when i was setting up my pedals strenghs it would crash and disconnect the pedals so today when i got up ive jump on the rig set them up to work then went on AMS2 and did a few laps and they worked fine . Just gotta fine tune them to my taste. Only part im unhappy about is all the other vids ive seen have this big pedal travel and i have some but not as much as them but otherwise they are working. Have you made sure to NOT click on center and calibrate?

Curious, how long did you have to wait from order to actual delivery for your set?
I pre ordered on March 30th so it took a few months. It will be a bit of a wait but defintley worth every second. And trust me I hate pre orders. Lol
