Thanks Brother, I have one ordered, they are on back order, for weeks,, so that alone says something. Means they cannot keep them in stock. I have two Fender Strats that I have modded, do not plan on doing anything to this, keep it all vintage. Even much higher priced guitar need tweaked, 'Right out of the Box', but have seen some other videos that they were in fact, playable. Regardless, I would change the strings, and adjust to my liking, and if anything really messed up would return it, or take it to my guitar tech. I have 2 other Harley Bentons and am very happy, although i did change pickups on them both. I played my CST 24 today at a gig, left my Les Paul at home. Rock On!
Thank you, Marco. It's really nice, although I did some work on it today. I worked 6 hours on the guitar. - Leveled and polished the frets - shielded the cavities. - wired the bridge pickup to the tone control. - Replaced all the plastic. - made a new bone nut. With better string spacing. - And finally gave it a setup.
Just keep playing man you’ll get there 🤘🏽, and once people can be around people again one on one lessons can lead an exponential gain in fretboard freedom 🤘🏽. Late 2023 is looking safe optimistically 😷 stay safe and just keep playing. I used to work on playing with my eyes closed or in total darkness, I’m not sure how much but it’s gotta help with muscle memory.
Greetings, and congrats on your purchase. I hope you're gonna like it as much as I do mine... I too had ordered an ST-62, one of the newer CC series (Custom Colour), and it arrived March 3rd. The one I bought is of the very cool shell-pink colour, as Thomann call it. It's an awesome instrument, not only in respect of the price. BTW, it's my third Harley Benton guitar, and even though I own a superb Danelectro, I play my HBs on regular basis. All the best, and thank you for sharing your impressions :)
Hi, I'm a beginner Guitar. You recomend this for rock metal too? I want to start with a versatility Guitar, and i don't know what choice. For you, I have to buy Ibanez grx 70qa or this?
You can tell he’s a strat man, that’s for sure. I’d love to hear is opinion on which are the top 5 ones that are not made by Fender , excluding the Squires

Cool guitar, happy NGD Carsten! Love the vintage vibes.

@@thegaindane boah. Now it plays like buttet I guess ;)
Yes, I just noodled for about 20 minutes. It feels amazing now 😀
A Clean house is a happy house, my house is kinda pissed cause I’m playing with my guitars all the time.
Enjoy the new axe Sir
I wish I could play like you... I'd take the pissed house for that 😬

It's a great guitar for the money. And with a good setup it plays wonderfully too. Love the shell pink color 👍
I had 4 Hb's they all had uneven frets.
Well, it happens... Even my PRS SE Paul's guitar 7x the price of this HB had uneven frets.

I would not recommend this guitar for rock and metal. You need a guitar with humbucker pickups. the Ibanez would be a better choice.
It’s a beauty!!!
It really is. It does need a quite a lot of fixing. But nothing I can't do. And I think it will turn out really nice 😀
@@thegaindane awesome! Looking forward to part 2 review! Glad you like it 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👍🏻👍🏻
You don’t need a reason other than you MUST have vintage white Strat with a maple finger board 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Right let me carry on watching
Yes, when Richard says Jump!.. You say, how high? 😬
@@thegaindane 🤣🤣🤣🤣
How many guitars do you need guy? Just one more! 🤘😆
There's alway room for one more, right? 😬

can you tell me what the difference is between harley benton st-60 cc mn and st-60 mn vw? What is better?
There's no other difference than the color of guitar and pickguard.
@@thegaindaneThank you
what are those riff you play? the clean ones mostly... thanks!
The first riff I play in the neck pickup, is Victor by Jens Varmløse... The second riff on the Bridge pickups, is Apache by Hank Marvin.
@@thegaindane Thanks! Tried to get some tabs but can't find any yet. Can you suggest where to find em?
I'm sure there's tabs for Apache. But the Victor song, I'm afraid you just have to watch how other people play it on UA-cam.
What the differences between this and the T-20’s ?
I haven't had a ST-20, but the difference would be:
- Better pickups
- Better pots
- Better tuners
- Vintage look and feel.
Would you reccomend this over a squier affinity strat?
I haven't tried an affinity strat. But looking at the specs, I would prefer the new 2021 affinity strat.
Wau looking gear
