@@CubanRider time for something new and change of pace from the Tuono. Dude, I’m also buying the new Ducati V4 Multistrada so once I get it we should go for a ride so you can get ride of the massive chicken strips I always seem to have on my bikes!
A buddy ordered one, hopefully i'll get to test it. But really great review, especially at COTA!!! It's pretty interesting they put that bike out being that the R6 is going away and they say the 600cc market is dwindling.
@@CaliMotoTV oh i'm sure it's a good bit different, wasn't trying to compare the two, just pointing out the 600cc market seemed to be dwindling. Too bad you didn't get to test the yellow one out🤮 haha. Again, great video!
i'm exactly in the same situation. I own a 890 duke r with 6 to 10 track days per year. Wonder if i should change or not. I fear to miss some HP on rs600 while the riding position seems perfect.
@@dudunelkee That's how I feel about my street triple RS. I track a Ninja 400 and treat it not so kindly and am sorta afraid of chucking the triumph down the street. I feel like the RS 660 would be both really manageable and super fun on track duty. Id be more comfortable pushing the Aprilia over the Triumph I believe. Also easier tire budget!
You're so lucky to have ridden that beautiful bike. If you want it bro just add it in your collection as your track bike and tweak it to you're preference.
Bro it would be a track weapon once you put your own touch to it... Big cc bikes like you said is to hard for you to push it onto its limit but this one I feel like you can do it and have loads of fun.
If you can get one, it’ll be very interesting to see a build series for the RS660. For some strange reason it looks like you can handle better the Aprilia than the SF V4 S
Really good review! I have a question for you. I want to change my bmw f800r and you have tried the aprilia rs660 and the ducati ss. Which one do you suggest for a daily use and sometimes track?
I had a pre-order lined up for this but ultimately decided to cancel it and get a Panigale V4s because Aprilia has absolutely no dealerships anywhere near where I live. It's a shame really because this is an amazing bike...but if I don't have a place to get valves done it's a no go.
Ordered mine a month ago, can’t wait to ride it!
No way! Staying with the Aprilia family I see. 😉

That engine sounds stunning - enjoy!
@Franz Fanon I think they have everything sorted and now is a good time to buy one!
Ordered mine first time rider super excited got the akrapovic full exhaust option too!
That's awesome. Good review, Bill!

The RS 660 would shine on smaller tracks. I think it would be nice competition for my Duke 890. 👌
How come they didn't allow you to record while Bill here recorded the whole thing?

@@CaliMotoTV Yup. I've been told that all my life :)
Very very good, funny and realistic review, thank you for your effort

I have a 2023 v4 pikes peak but purchased a 2022 rs 660 as a track bike
Good stuff!!
thank you for giving us your height and weight - allows for better evaluation per my body type.

@@CaliMotoTV haha yeah I can't say I regret my decision. Also going with the Arrow exhaust-your sound clip sold me on it.
Just wondering if this quickshifter is better than the 790/890 duke’s 🤔
I love this bike , not so far i buy this coloraction because is total bike, city, truck, funbike everything
How would you compare this bike with the Ducati supersport?
Did they increase preload for you? Do you know how many turns? thx
It feels like you turn to early in nearly every corner. If turn later you can have a straighter exit line. I think.
Really god review. Although I noticed nobody compared RS 660 with ZX-6R in terms of straight line speed.
Hope for Factory version.
In all fariness and while I love the RS660 it just has nothing to do against the ZX-6R in straight line speed.

@@artjomslivenskis429 150mph - 250km/h is okay for me for some it will be slow

@@CaliMotoTV That's what I wanted to hear in review.
Does the RS660 have a fork mount for a phone? it seems like it does could anyone help answer this question thank you
Wait for the factory version.
Whats that ont the swingarm right side?
I have seen those marks on quite a few of them, seems to be from shoes.
I'm going to wait for a dealer to open less than 100 miles away.
This moto need 120cv
