Great session. Great that you (as a racer) thought it a great threat on homogulation. Some nice deep turns- closer to limits- and carrying speed really well. So, obvious confidence inspiring contact patches, well suspended gutsy 659cc bike!

Was that an RSV4 that flew past you at 4:27? Whatever he was on was clearly fast but you absolutely ate in to him under brakes in to turn 1!! I was like, ‘woah, is he going to get it stopped??!!!’ 😂. You made up so much ground on him I’m seriously impressed!! Clearly you’re very good on the brakes!! 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼🔥🔥🔥
It was an Ducati V4R I passed him into the last corner at 4:12 then he blew my doors off on the straightaway 🤣🤣🤣

I'd lose most of the cliche music...the exhaust note at idle and when leaving the pits would be a better proposition.

Great review there, just goes to show you dont need the latest all singing and dancing litre bike to be quick and have fun on track. It will be interesting to see what they will be like in full race spec though.

If I had this bike I’d have to with a aftermarket triple clamp and clip ons, those bars are way to high and not wide enough
Yeah any race bike would get Clip ons so I was looking passed that but it definitely needs Clip ons and a new top triple clamp
Is it possible to elbow this bike with the high steering and low footrest?
The stock triple clamp clip on set up had a rise so it would be very difficult but I’m sure someone could do it! I am not very tall so I wasn’t able too
I saw the Aprilia tech adjusting the suspension in one clip. How was the OEM suspension overall?
Honestly I was extremely impressed with the stock suspension! The bike felt extremely planted and stable. It was compliant with input and was just very comfortable overall!

What earplugs do you use when you are racing?
Southern Adrenaline! Absolutely love them!
It's a great bike but in a group of one, it's not a supersport and it's much too expensive to be classed with the MT-07, Z650 and CBR650, its price puts it alongside the MT-09, KTM 890R and Street triple RS, all of which are much more powerful.
Technically by engine size it’s at the top of its class with MT’s and SV’s and the only twin that’s actually a sportbike styled bike. I know it’s expensive but really there’s nothing else like it!

If you don't care about displacement, then ride anything.

Mine have never squeaked on any 660 I’ve rode and I’ve rode like 10 different bikes but I don’t use rear brake

So how much the top speed you got
I’m not sure I never really looked at it but like 140 I think
I just wish this bike would get up to 155 or 160mph
Yes it’s got quite a bit up top compared to its rivals but it’s lacking quite a bit of torque out of the corners! Still not really competitive compared to the 600’s.
Is it overrated?
It handles amazing! Going to be an incredible bike for its class!
How was the power compared to the FZ07?
I felt it was similar top speed but my yamaha definitely has more drive coming out of the corners keep in mind it’s stock vs full race bike
How about engine and brakes? How will this hold up to a standard supersport (inline four)?
The engine is definitely slower than inline four SS it’s more comparable to bikes the SV650 or MT07 but it’s more of a race bike compared to its twin competition !
Abs brakes are not very good it will need new lines and a Brembo master in race trim!

A new Aprilia without gp-shifter....what a joke I keep my RS 250- 00 2-stroke...10 times more fun
The bike has quick shifter up and down so it’s complex to change the bike to GP but it can be done I was riding a Pre Production model so they were Standard shift.
@@KD51LifeofaRacer the production version is equipped with a blipper qs. In track trim (accessoires) there's a reverse gear mapping available.

🤣🤣🤣 slow compared to what? It’s a twin so it’s in the same class as an SV650 and MT 07 so when you compare them to these bikes it’s at the top of its class! This bike is not a 600cc in-line four sportbike and it is definitely slower than R6’s GSXR 600 and other middleweight bikes.

@@MOcandyman Yeah I think people think this bike is a “middleweight” so races 600 like your at most clubs but it’s going to be racing Mt07’s and SV650’s In lightweight classes
