It's so frustrating... this happened for so many houses I was looking at... they were on the market for 3-10 days AND GONE. A REAL mayor/governor would OUTLAW this. Brighton Heights got completely ruined. Any houses under $150k were gone immediately.
I just think if there is more than 1 than families should get priority especiallyif it's bank owned. They could also place limits on how many can be owned by corporations .
I get several calls a month asking if I'm thinking about selling my home. I said sure ... 300,000 cash please, they always say they get back to me. 😂😂😂
This disgusts me! This is why I can’t buy a home. You get outbid by people who don’t even live in Pittsburgh! I’m sick about it because apparently the town I love doesn’t want families putting down another generation of roots here. SMH 🤦♂️
, they know these houses "money pits" if they had to actually address all the maintenance issues , , Greed is having its shining hour ! , good on the local government stopping further damage by restricting them from more purchases.
, well , word is out ! , long distance land lords only want the $$$ , not the hassle of real maintance issues ! Don't expect these places to be Taj Mahal's! , barely livable , ,
That's why I don't like renting from private companies and landlords. They do the grimiest things and there is no one above to reprimand them. I always search an apartment's management company and I have found some that were sketchy. And they might have one person showing a rental and they seem if-y themselves. Another red flag is that if I see their is no or little contact info or the people are unreachable, I know they are bad business. I have seen and read stories of tenants complaining about things needing to get fixed but nothing happens.
Im Racist? Do u own a dictionary? I understand 😐 but rhetorical question? martin luther king wasnt a racist when he protested for civil right and to end segregation frm “your race” 🤔your race plays psychological mind games with african ppl ; However not anymore though.@@AmandaPandaWhoLivesInaVeranda
There may be a positive to this. Bcse they have to depend on employees to manage these homes when they are vacant. If they are like many workers today and slack off. Then when they don't pay the tax bill then you may be able to get good deals. Bcse the employees will likely be unaware until it's too late. I remember a long time ago these companies said they don't wanna be landlords. And how they are managed is only as good as the folks being hired.
We should put laws on the books to not allow this.
Who do you think funds the folks that write the laws?
These corporations have lobbyists in the legislature to make sure that the laws won't change.
I WILL NOT LIVE IN A POD AND EAT BUGS!!!!!!!!
The corporate wants to own everything 😢no one can buy a home any more. So greedy.
Naw a ststematic tatic for urban removal to eradicate the blaq community whyte kids are buying homes in a blaq community smh

I told them $500,000 cash. I have also asked them who they are working for, they didn't respond to the second question.
, forcing more families into Van Life every week , , , shame , shame , shame , ,

Zillow! This will definitely cause Homelessness! Don’t allow it!😮

This town is lost its already lost
Bingo Pittsburgh is all about the transplants and it shows
No, their goal is to deny families the ability to build generational wealth!
In socialism, this wouldn’t happen. I love capitalism but this is abuse
STOP THIS immediately!!! this is absolutely horrible for us as we have been looking for two years now.
Oh well Pittsburgh kinda sucks anyways Ohio is better I think
Want a place to live? You'll have to rent one from Big Brother. He's snapped up all the ones you could afford to buy.

My neighbors are from Oregon they paid 180k for a home WELL below that value Being from the West they thought it was a steal 😅
This needs to stop homes should not be an investment strategy for hedge funds and private equity firms.
If a corporation wants to buy my home over market price, So be it….“Greed is Good”
Soon you’ll sell and never be able to buy again. Good luck 👍
Yes, corporate greed! You buy when prices are low.

This should be illegal.

Republican policies always looking out for the little guy lol.
Democratic mayor and governor are supposed to be protecting Pittsburgh, they could care less about this HORRIBLE practice.
@@tricatfilms6136my dad bought my place in 1985 and I get calls daily from companies wanting to buy
Look at lobbying $. The vast majority of Wall Street money goes to democrats. Fact.
@@tricatfilms6136 you're a 🤡 if you think a lowly mayor has any power over this.
Greedy corporations!!!🤡💩👎
Another 4 years of a "landlord in chief", bringing more corporate tax cuts will solve this...
