Many greetings from Germany and many thanks Conny
Thank you Jennifer, this is an absolutely gorgeous design! Thank you for beautiful creations that you share with your community! Also, the hint on using the deep cut blade is so helpful ! I actually tried this with vinyl and faux leather cuts, also the fabric blade instead of the fine cut blade sometimes works better and less messy - not sure what the difference between the fabric / fine blades are but the fabric blade definitely cuts cleaner on some materials. I am still after almost a year since I found your videos so grateful fr all that you share!
Thankyou thankyou thankyou ♥️ I have wasted so much paper, and gotten so frustrated and angry with torn pieces of cardstock. 🤞 this will now be a thing of the past. 💋
Do you find that the blue mat isn't sticky emough for intricate designs, so that's why you used the green mat? I would think the green mat would make the cardstock tear when removing?
I do prefer the green mat. Turn the mat over and peel the card stock off. I use the spatula or scraper to peal it off the mat to help prevent it from tearing.
Yes! The proportions will fit in a 12x12 shadowbox. You can see pictures on the blog post. Of course you can resize it to how you want it. jennifermaker.com/floral-heart-svg/
I just read your cricut mat order. blog post.....I never knew that is what was happening. Do you have the map of the color picker and print order that is printable? Thanks,
If you don’t have blog directions for a layered project like this one does, how do you know what order to layer in once cut? Is there a way to figure that out with any project?
Mats cut in color order and not layer order. You can choose which mat you want to cut after you click make it. Double check to make sure that one layer is not covering up other layers with the card stock.
I bought (on etsy) a project for a shadowbox...it's so intricate that makes me cry..I'm really desperate. I'm at my 15th attempt to make just one layer and I tried everything...
I'm sorry to hear that. I have instructions on my blog posts for my projects. Make sure that you can see the cuts through each layer before putting it together.

I can’t believe it has never occurred to me to use the deep point blade for something like this! Thanks for the tip! Can’t wait to try it! ❤
You are so welcome!
Thanks for this hint Jennifer! I never thought to change the blade for intricate cuts. I'll have to try it.
You are so very welcome! 💗

It's cold in Michigan too! Glad you like it!
I do a 80 pound cards took use painters tap to make sure it won't move at all no matter how old the mat get and can cut out Chinese Dragan
I do the same thing. Works great for cutting vinyl on a non sticky mat as well.
I love this. So pretty!
Thank you!

Hi Jennifer! I'm getting ready to piece my heart together, does it matter if I use 1/8" thick foam squares or 1/16"?
It does not matter at all.
I found a silhouette vinyl kit can I use it on my maker
Yes, you can use all different brands of vinyl on the Maker.
Can I put this heart in a shadowbox that’s 12 x 12? In the size you’re providing, or do I need to change the proportions?
Yes! The proportions will fit in a 12x12 shadowbox. You can see pictures on the blog post. Of course you can resize it to how you want it. jennifermaker.com/floral-heart-svg/
Hello from Alabama
Hello there!
I just read your cricut mat order. blog post.....I never knew that is what was happening. Do you have the map of the color picker and print order that is printable? Thanks,

@@JenniferMaker I read that but would love to print out the images too.

Is a brayer tool really worth it?
I love mine! 💗

What are you using a mac ??
Yes 💗
I tried your suggestions and it ripped my paper. My mat is new so I don't think that's the problem.
It could be the card stock. We have a blog post that might help you troubleshoot here: jennifermaker.com/cricut-cutting-problems-tips-cleaner-cuts/
