For my fellow Keyboardists: The Cm7 sounds lovely extended downwards as an Abmaj9. Alternating between the Gm9 and Abmaj9 is nice for the left hand and lets you have some modal interchange between G minor and G phrygian. The Dalt chord can be voiced nicely as a Gbmaj7b5, playing with Cminor blues over the top to fill out the altered scale tones. Edit: Also, throwing in a little chromatically passing 7th with an Ab7 in between the new "Abmaj9" chords and the Gm9 sounds very smooth. You can also extend the Abmaj9 to include the #11 and #15, with a D open 5th shape in the right hand to further blur the lines between the minor and phrygian modes. Another possible reharm idea to mess with is replacing the Cm7 with a G Half Diminished chord, giving the mixture of the two chords an Eb13#11 flavor

nice track. can i get some help? i was wondering what program you use for your thumbnail? you see these other channels with animation and charts, but what programs are they using in the making of those types of track videos? thanks
Super late reply, but Shoji Meguro the composer behind Persona 3,4 and 5 has a great jazz fusion component to his tracks. He has stated that he really enjoyed that music genre in interviews if I remember right. Too bad he never joined a band and released some albums!
This is easily one of my top 10 favorites on UA-cam. The bass is just absolutely delicious
Thanks!
Also great drumming
Just getting ready to write the same thing. Bass player jumps out at ya. I switch back to guitar on this one.

Sick my ass.. it's gorgeorgerous
Yeah... bass is killing it.
Fretless I assume modulus or Warwick or something similar active electronics I would suspect but it is an excellent quality sound

Great track, especially at 75% speed. Can really develop some smooth jazz ideas.
👍
Interesting. It sounds kinda odd but it's a good speed
@@KarklinPumpkin Yeah, their playback speed engine is low fidelity, for sure.
There is also a ninth on that Gm7 right? it sounds so good to hit the A note on the e string
chord is actually Gm9 with the keys
One of my faves to jam
Very good !!
