@@awdsqe123 Yes, together with the forced pacifist mode on centcomm I think the non gibbing recycler are the two worst changes on Harmony that I absolutely disagree with. Almost all of the other changes are good tho!
Det was breaking the meta shield left and right, you cant test gloves unprompted, you cant check radios either, he stunned the hell out of you because it was obvious you where a thief with the 10k, something his character shouldn't know is a thing, he used way to much meta knowledge.
@@SkenniePennies this video sort of misses the explanation that the crime they were investigating was another thief stealing the headsets straight off of the heads of almost everyone in sec. This was on harmony, which clearly states in the rules that there is no metashield enforced. Det played it completely fairly, and at no point did I feel they were metagaming.
Don't know why so many people are being critical of the detective. I feel like he played that in a really fun way. He took the bribe instead of searching you. Made good rp out of questioning you instead of just manhandling you and searching your bags immediately. He didn't even ask you to take off the gas mask. OOC he knew you were some kind of antagonist and had a very good idea where you'd been stashing things but instead of metagaming and busting you he just used that knowledge to make you sweat before going on his was as if he didn't know anything. And the pile of chameleon gloves was such a bafflingly good excuse he let you go off that alone. Also is that Captain Salazar Snek I spotted there at the end?
@@cruncyart Yeah might've exaggerated a bit, though there were two people strongly accusing the detective of metagaming in just a handful of comments. One of them has just deleted their comment since then.
Detective knew something was up but chose not to search the bed curtain/bookshelf for the sake of roleplay...and also took the very obvious antag bribe. That's like the opposite of metagaming. I will not accept craylong slander in this house.

"as hard as possible" oh come on now. Sec was on high alert from someone busting out an e sword. They were probably on blue and may have had a good reason to search him from previous Intel and the yellow gloves. Plus he played it very fun, went a long with a bribe, and didn't shut down the bit instantly. It's 100% obvious someone is an antagonist if they bust out 10k spesos, especially as a non cargo position, but he was a good sport and didn't dig too deep.
