This ride is so OG. Best ride at Funtown honestly. I’m born and raised in Maine and went to Funtown every summer as a kid and this was always my first and most ridden ride. The song, the spooky face, the cool air as you’re spinning around maaaan good memories!
I loved riding on this ride. And it even looks nice with the new projections and new modified song but not as good as og. Tho I still love the original modified song with the strobe thunder.
0:50 awesome! They kept the face in this run. It seems like it depends on who's working on the astrosphere at Funtown. If I worked there, I'd be keeping the face, keeping the lights off, and playing the awesome modified version!!!

I definitely remember more creepy images like a blue rabbit. Must be like back in 2005-2006. They did get rid of all the creepy stuff later on, but did eventually bring it back.
i remember it being SUPER scary back in the 90s ! i’m glad they kept the original alien face that used to scare the crap out of me as a child but in such a good way!
If you have been to canobie lake park, do you prefer the Astrosphere at Funtown USA or the Psychodrome at Canobie Lake Park? I prefer the Astrosphere but mainly because I grew up with it

This was never at Seabreeze. Both rides opened in 1976. Seabreeze opened theirs slightly before.
