    I’m going to be a first time RV owner and BOY, DO I HAVE A LOT TO LEARN! We’re looking at purchasing this Winnebago. I’m not planning on using this much at campgrounds. My main reason of purchasing a class B is to be able to go everywhere and park anywhere. I really have to learn how to get by without having to be hooked up.

      There is certainly a learning curve, to RVing and probably even more so when down sizing to a van. If you have any questions, we will do our best to answer them.

    For a shower in a B van wet bath it looks pretty roomy. Those color coded levers with the diagrams for the water options are a good idea and seem to really simplify it! What an oversight of Winnebago to not have an opening for a water hook-up hose while having the doors closed. I'm enjoying this series! Safe travels.

      The wet bath is so much better than we were expecting and we have made some mods to make it almost as good as the shower in our Class A. We were surprised that there was no way to connect to water without having the doors open, we believe that was a big oversight. The water diagram is great, very easy to follow! Glad you are enjoying the videos, going to try and go live again later today.

    Thank you for explaining the shower. I have limited experience in RV showers so this helps

      Hi Edna, glad to hear you found it helpful, u would say showers in the vans are very different than in any other type of RVs. They really become creative with the limited space

    You are so spot on with the full hook up water access complaint. I do not mind taking quick showers when we have to. But I want to take advantage of full hook ups and take a nice long shower to do my hair and take my time and the fact that I can’t have city water hook up and take a shower at the same time seems Like a serious disadvantage

      It would help if we could have some type of schedule so everyone knew when we were coming on, but we really base it on our internet strength and if we have enough of it to live. Glad to hear you are enjoying the videos! I will certainly pass on that hug to Belle

      Hi Joy, yes I believe it's an easy fox as well. We actually have kind of gotten use to it now, but I think I'll still put it on our list for Winnebago. Wishing you safe travels as well!

    I haven’t seen y’all since I quit using Instagram 2.5 years ago.
    Weird it took this long for UA-cam to notify me of your YT page.
    I like the Bathroom Module the Winnebago used on this model. Big change from the Class. A. 🎉

      Long time no see. It's great to have you back, we are not sure why UA-cam stopped notifying people, a few others have told us the same. This is our favorite van floor plan. By having the bathroom in the back it allows a very open feeling up front and gives space for several windows.

    Just watch your video again and noticed the switches under the mirror in the bath...can they get wet? Can't imagine it being good for them to get wet!

    • @MovingForwardAdventures
      @MovingForwardAdventures  9 місяців тому +2

      I am not a 100% sure, but I think they are ok to get a bit wet. I wouldn't soak them or run the shower head directly on them, but they should be ok to get splashed. I'll reach out to Winnebago and find out and get back to you with an answer from them

    If they added a door it would need a ledge above it to redirect rain water. I could see that. But then there's an entry point for bugs and vermin.

      Well we always say don't let 5min of your morning ruin your day and he could have the same mindset. You just go in there get cleaned up and go. It's not like being home or in our Vista where you can use the shower to relax or decompress. 😄

      @@MovingForwardAdventures 😂😂😂 just another reason to explore why vans cost as much as a class A with less amenities and more agility.

    • @MovingForwardAdventures
      @MovingForwardAdventures  Рік тому

      Because #vanlife lol. We often wonder the price as well and always say Class A gives you the most bang for the buck, but some people are intimated by the size of them for driving, so it's not a vehicle that anyone can hop in and drive off, like a van would be.
