I like the CK series keyboards because they can be used to practice without having to connect studio monitors. I also like the fact that you can connect other keyboards and synthesizers to it and not have to connect studio monitors either. Built in speakers are a game changer for me because I want to be playing right away and not have to connect additional equipment to do so. The flexibility and the number of sound options that you have with CK series keyboards made me choose one for myself. Thank you for creating this video. I'm going to see what other videos you have in this series.
Great helpful videos you make .. thanks so much. Followed your instructions about mic, but found out that if you go to Menu / General / Audio / A/D Input Type/ select MIC ( default seems to be Line… selecting Mic gives that extra boost. Now I can adjust the mic volume from Settings/Volume. Thanks for all your helpful info. Just recently got my CK 61 in Australia (first shipment! I was stoked!!)
I also use CK-61. I'm always interested in the sound of output speakers from various people. Could you please introduce the equipment and connections, such as the sound and power of the output speakers? It's a powerful and good sound. Good!
Thanks for the video… really useful! I was going to use an iPad for my rig but that’s proving more trouble then I expected!… this looks like a much better option 👍 Cheers

Could you please tell me how to create the sound of a Vox Continental organ? I want to play I’m going to change the world by The Animals and I don’t find the proper sound. 😢😊
Menu..A/D Input Type....Select MIC....Not line.... Turn the gain up on the back. my sm58 is way too loud....You can also use the compressor to boost volume. You may have a dodgy unit, as others have commented how high the gain is
Hey KC. I was wondering if it is possible to plug in a MIDI drum pad like a Novation and set it up so you can play drums on the Novation the same time you can play keys on the CK 61. Thanks in advance for the response
I run three other keyboards into that input via a stereo mini mixer. I then send the CK61’s stereo out to the main board. So I control my entire mix except vox
Do you know of a way to have the effects only on the Mic L/mono input only? I have another keyboard plugged into the A/D Right input and I get the effects on that too, which I do not want. I also get the effect on the Bluetooth backing track, which I don't want either.
Hi , for the analogue input from your other keyboard on one channel. I don't think you can have affects on specific channels. I think with the setup you have , you could benefit from having a mixer. You would feed the output of the mixer into the keyboard. If your mixer has effects capabilities, i would utilize that. Keep the setting in the CK dry with not effects in that case. cheers
Nice. You could get more gain and better fidelity from the mic by using a balancing transformer between the mic and keyboard. Currently, you have an impedance mismatch which is causing your low gain by connecting a low impedance (balanced) mic into a high impedance (unbalanced) input. An impedance matching transformer in-between the mic and keyboard would take care of that. The Shure A85F, XLR-F to 1/4-inch Line Matching Transformer goes for $23 from Sweetwater and others. 😉👍
hey C, I have the modx7 and the mx61. Now Im thinking on buying the CK61 for its nord feeling, you know what i mean. But maybe, the modx is more than enough, and i will end with a lot of gear that overlaps. So my question is, is the Ck bringing something really new? Something i cant do on the modx? Does it sound better than the modx? Thanks in advance for the help.
Hello. Awesome that you have the MODX and MX. The MODX is more capable however the CK is easier to use however limited in sounds. I just came back from a music jam and brought both. I found the CK very simple for performances where I played songs I never did before. Forcing me to modify sounds like the organ on the fly. Worked well. The last thing is the key feel… better and quieter as in no click clack. I think it’s a good addition to your stuff but not a replacement. Cheers
Hi I think so. If you assign a track to a patch it’s set and forget. As long as you remember to put the usb drive in the keyboard that contains your wav files. Cheers

Thank you very much for the videos, which are very helpful for those who are creating amateur home studios. That helps a lot.
Thanks! Handy to learn how you took time exploring optionés.
Glad it was helpful!
Another great and so useful tutorial for this fab keyboard. Thanks KC. Keep them coming please.
There is loads of Mike game in the CK 61 and CK 88 .
Simply select mic as the input type instead of the default line setting

Really like the song/music you were playing during this video. Would love to see the sheet music/lyrics.
Precedence Behold
Kris Composer
Verse 1
I was walking in the darkness
Thinking of things that lead us
Controlling our every move
Our destiny is moving us
Increasing my will to go
To a world without control
Be free like an arrow
Without constraints and control
Chorus
The world can be hard on the soul
Thinking of the things to keep you whole
Open the mind to a whole new amazing world
The precedence of that life can behold
Verse 2
Decided to live within the shade
And discover a way to find the light
Slowly seeing the changes
Making flight for what’s right
I gathered the strength to survive
To see you in the brightness
Of a new world of kindness
I strive to follow to be alive
Bridge
Free me out of those chains
Be on the edge of the burning flight
Getting a whiff of that cool breezy air
From the sweetness of your hair
I wanna go to the rightful place where i can be with you
I wanna go to the rightful place where i can be with you
Chorus
(bis)
The world can be hard on the soul
Thinking of the things to keep you whole
Open the mind to a whole new amazing world
The precedence of that life can behold
Bridge
I wanna go to the rightful place where i can be with you
I wanna go to the rightful place where i can be with you
I wanna go to the rightful place where i can be with you

Hi :) you can connect it however my concern would be the drum sounds which the CK does not have.
Thank you so much! It really helped me! 👏👏👏🤗
Chorus sounded sweet!
actually, the chorus effect on your voice sounded pretty awesome!!!
Cool :) thanks for the feedback.

Once you set the mic, are you able to change sounds and keep the mic settings?
Hi, the mic settings are associated to the patch if I’m not mistaken.
I understood the mic settings are NOT livestock based, but universal independent of which lives etc is selected? Is that not right?

Hi, any advise on my ck61 when plug in on A/D inputs got noisy sound. thanks.
Hi , i have a video that explores noise. Simple answer is a Direct Box to lift the ground in worst case. Hope this helps

Exactly.
WONDERFUL , I LOVE IT 😍I have joined now🔔🙏🤝
Can i put mike through yam mini mixer and lead into mike imput to get revetb
properly configures , yes. But you can get great effects on the CK without doing that. You can also assign vocal effects per sound patch.

Can ck61 input mic using microphone for vocoder?
