Thank you! I saw the haringey cabinet member for transport on twitter saying the borough was doing unspecified main road feasibility studies - let’s hope that includes green lanes and they get a move on!

@2:55, as you commented, it was a close one. Kudos to the cyclist, she had her druthers about her, and graciously signals @3:00. When I cycle along the C4 extension, in Greenwich, along Trafalgar/Woolwich road I’m constantly having or keep an eye out for cars pulling out of the side roads or left hooking. Happened today.
Ouch, stay safe- I’d be interested in reading up on how eg Dutch planners deal with it, it seems like quite a consistent problem on cycle lanes with a lot of side roads here
@@Londoncycleroutes I think a lot of it is driver education. They look if they’re pulling out or across a bus lane but, at the moment, routinely not look if it’s a bike lane. I guess cycling and bike lanes are more engrained in Dutch culture, that it isn’t so much of an issue.
Another great video, thank you. It would be good to see one using C27 from say Paddington towards Kings Cross/Angel Way. I've tried it before and got a bit confused at turns and what not and had to defer to my phone, so would be good to have a video showing this route.
Interesting - I’ve usually avoided that section of C27 because some bits like Crawford St etc aren’t quite up to scratch but if it would be helpful I might do a video- I agree about the turns, I get lost as well! There are different routes in both directions it isn’t symmetrical which makes it annoying
@@Londoncycleroutes Its true, some sections are lacking which adds to confusion because you end questioning if you are still on the route! We come into London at Kings Cross so we tried it recently as a way of 'going out West' without having to go down to the river. yeah that's a good point - I certainly like mine and am used to the speed. it does have space for decent tyres but have had a bit more trouble fitting mudguards (though am yet to give up). I do think as well that sometimes safe streets people advocate for the sort of bike they wish was suitable in their city than the one that actually is. a dutch bike is all well and good but honestly sometimes if you are mixing with traffic you probably want a bit of speed to keep up! @@liamness
@@Londoncycleroutes Yeah I've got a big dutch bike and it's great for what I need, as it just keeps trucking with little to no care. @@Londoncycleroutes it's the most dangerous part of my commute from South Tottenham to Kings Cross - though the St Ann's LTN seems to have decreased traffic on St Ann's and made it marginally safer.
Lovely to see LTNs continuing to open up new routes. Here's hoping for Green Lanes cycle lanes in the near future!
Very much fingers crossed!
The new lighting up the otherside of the finsbury park carriageway loop has been wonderful since it went in.
Great to hear it’s made it a better route!
Great to see the LTNs are (funnily enough) a good idea people get used to.
It does seem to be happening!

Another great video would love to see a route from Tottenham to Waltham cross.
I reckon that can be done!
You can use the A1010 route for most of the way
I have no idea why I watched this one, 50% of it is my daily commute 😅
But then again, I would never have learnt where Wine Gums come from.

Finsbury park not advisable to go through at night it is dangerous 😢
I cycle in Finsbury Park regularly at night. While it’s busy I’m not sure if I would call it dangerous, especially for cyclists
Different people def have different thresholds for this sort of thing for sure
Definitely get some high powered STVZO compliant lights if you're going to go through there at night I think
